"Love Forever Happiness" layout by Amy Voorthuis

Well hello fellow crafters,
I am very glad you are visiting the blog today, here you can find a lot of inspiration from my fellow DT members who are a huge inspiration to me as well. I just love creating with 2Crafty Chipboard pieces & I love creating with as much of them as possible. So for this layout I went all feminine with a couple of my favorite colors & eight different chippies, enjoy my post! Oh and I used a picture of my husband & daughter last summer in Greece....

Love Forever Happiness:

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Window Shutter Set 4
Line Words - Happiness
Leafy Shrub Set 1
6x6 Clock Face Frames
Amelia's Frames
Mini Word Set 2
Squiggly Circle Arrow Journal Spots
Fine Word Set 1

You know what's amazing, you can order directly from the
2Crafty website here so you can also play with their amazing chipboard pieces.

I prepaired all my chipboard pieces with white gesso as I normally do but for all of the chippies I used a different technique let me explain. For the pretty window shutters I used some rustic paint {white sand} which has a sand like structure and applying it is very easy. After that I added some colors with a matte finish and some white wax.

The clock face frame & amelia frame atre both firstly sprayed with spray paint and then I added some acrylic paint & three different color waxes.
The words I embossed with different colors and the word "Happiness" I two toned it so it give it more demension. I also embossed the "squiggly circle arrow journal spots" with some pink embossing powder.

And for the leafy shrub set I used some spray paint and two different acrylic paints and later on I added some wax. I also did a lot of fussy cutting forthis layout now I know why I love doing that it relaxes the mind haha..

"Merry Christmas"
Decorative Panel Flourish Star
by Marie Sabatier

Here is my last creation of the year 2020
I am happy to have spent another year here and to have shared my inspirations with you.

This year it will be difficult to celebrate Christmas like every year because of this pandemic
all over the world but I hope you can still get together with your family!

With this star I wish you a very merry Christmas.
I used this photo of my little son Leo he looks like a little angel carried by a star!

"Merry Christmas"

2CraftyChipboard used :

- Merry Christmas Card Set Fine
- 10 Decorative Panel Flourish Star
- Windows Shutter Set
- Foliage Set 6

I hesitated to put paper behind the star but at the end of my project I cracked and I like
it but another time I will try.

I applied a coat of white Gesso to each chipboard.

On the star I added white wax and a little gray wax to match my photo,
then I applied Glitter Varnish.

I really like the design of the decorative panel.

I used a lot of layers of paper before laying out my photo, I wanted to create a cozy little nest.

On the photo I have placed the "Windows Shutter" chipboard, I embellished it in the same
way as the star and I buried part of the window.

I love this photo I find so cocooning.

On the title and chipboards "Foliage Set 6" I added Lindy's "Purely White"
embossing powder and Opal Magic Silk wax.

Lots of Christmas paper embellishment, pebbles, sequins, metal beads,
glitter ..... to embellish these wonderful chipboards!

I wish you another Merry Christmas and hope to see you again in 2021.

Summer Story
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello 2Crafties fans!

Summer is in full swing around here in Canada...
It's no surprise that my first July project is all about beach!!!

I chose to use a lot of white to recreate a sun faded effect on my chipboards and background. Blue and teal tones are a great complement and add a lot of contrasts.

Summer Story

"Summer Story" title is part of Mini Title Stick Set 4.
It was slightly covered with white gesso here and there.

In order to get a beachy look, Window Shutter Set was dry-brushed with white gesso.
I love how the shutter are drawing attention to the picture.

Corner Mini Set 3 elements were painted with white acrylic paint, hightlighted with teal paint
and a few touches of white gesso were added at the end.

Until next time, be happy and be creative!

""Live In The Moment"
By Elena Martynova

Hey everyone, it’s Elena Martynova here sharing a
layout using 2Crafty chippies.

Cold November crept into my work.
I've already done a few Christmas projects and wanted
to take a break from their bright colors.
So I chose a calm gray background for the page and
added a piece of paper with boards.

If you notice, the background behind the girl in the photo
resembles these boards. Her clothes and lipstick color
influenced the choice of decor. I took the beautiful
shuttered window, painted it black, and applied
some dark blue embosser powder.

I wanted to highlight the background of all the work of a
round frame with leaves, so I used for its decoration Golden powder.

Stunning piece of chipboard resembling cracks
I cut into several pieces and added them to the composition.
I painted it black and left it there.

Red flowers to add brightness and contrast.

Thanks for stopping by!
I was glad to inspire you today!
See you soon, bye-bye!
