Christmas Time Altered Tree by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!

Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for November.
Last year I created one of these Beyond the Page Wooden Christmas Trees and
enjoyed making it so much I decided I would make another.

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Ornate Snowflakes
*Holly Twig Branches
*Swirly Holly Set
*Christmas Mini Word Set 1

I kept the Christmas Tree raw and decorated each panel with gorgeous Christmas
papers from Paper Rose called Christmas Time.

I painted the Ornate Snowflakes, Swirly Holly and Celebrate & Christmas from the Christmas Mini Word Set 1 chippies with Gold Mont Marte Paint.

Once dry I randomly dabbed on some Colour Blast Snow White Colour Paste.

I dabbed on a thick coat of Art Alchemy Green Gold paint to the Holly Twig Branches
and once dry gave them all a light coat of Chopped Pesto Ink Sp
ray.

I attached my photo to a couple of distressed paper layers in the same paper that I decorated the frame with and then placed it on the tree.

I cut the large Swirl from the Swirly Holly in half and added one half to the top of my photo and the other to the bottom of my photo.  I then embellished the tree with assorted flowers.

I tucked the Holly Twig Branches and Ornate Snowflakes randomly into different areas of my flower clusters and to finish I added true snow to the Tree and randomly over the chippies and flowers.

That's all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all a little with my Altered Christmas Tree.

Until next time,
Thanks so much for stopping by.

A Christmas Tradition
By Marie Claude Rodier

Good day lovelies!

Christmas spirit is in full mode around here... The tree is up, the decorations are in place,
the Elf has arrived and we are enjoying every minute of it!!!

What was once a funny photo session has become an annual tradition.
The kids put their Christmas hats on and pose for a few minutes next to the tree and mama tries to take as many pictures as possible while they last still.

"A Christmas Tradition"

A Christmas tradition title was first painted in white acrylic and
embossed with gold embossing powder.

The bauble (Bauble Ornament Set) on top was painted in white acrylic and then embossed with a vanilla sparkle powder.

The bauble tucked behind was also painted in white and then covered with a semi-transparent holographic silver embossing powder.

Ornate Snowflakes were painted and embossed using the same technique, one in a vanilla tone and the other one in a clear silver tone.

December Inspiration by Noura Pompilla
+Photo Tutorial

Hello my 2crafty friends!!

Noura here today my December projects. As it is Christmas, I have created a Christmas
themed page and even though I personally don't celebrate these holidays, I would like to
wish all of you a merry Christmas and God bless all of you and your families and I hope
he gives you lots of peace.

My first project is a layout with the classic colors of Christmas..

"Wish Peace"

Some close ups

I used Circle Dot Frame on top of my photo and I covered it with a snowflake paste.

Floral Branch, I gave it some touches of gesso with a dry brush and I added pearls.

I did the same with Fernlike Snowflake

I took two words from the Xmas  mini word pack to form the title of my layout "Wish" and "Peace".

Cards"Reindeers"+ Photo tutorial

This is my second project, two cards with lots of brightness, I hope that you all like it.
Some photos were taken with little night because it was night time, so I apologize

First we cover with gesso the cardboard papers.

Next we paint it with Magicals "Sassy Saphire"from Lindys.

Then we add a little bit of  Starbust "Frozen Jack frost " to clear up the color.

Then we put on some modeling paste with a stencil and we let it dry.

Next with a dry brush we spread the cardboard paper with gesso.

We sew around the edges.

I embosssed  Circle dot frame  and 12"circle revolution with white embossing powder
and Mini Raindeer  with King midas gold embossing powder from Lindys.

My titles "Noel " and "Joy" from Crishtmas Mini word set 1 were painted and
embossed with clear embossing powder

I stuck on some circular paper below.

I have added threads to the sides and some paper to the frame

We add all the decoration with flower and berries.

Finally I added some accents & more brightness.
