Shabby Cards
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty Lovers!
It's Lisa here today to share some 2Crafty inspiration with you.
I have created a set of two cards.

2Crafty Products:

For my first card, I used two of the corners from the 'Corner Mini Set 1'.

I first painted them white and then applied some crackle paste for texture.
I then used an antiquing paste to distress the corners.

I have also used this technique to finish one of the 'Element Set 1',
that I have added into my layers.

I have also used one of the 'ATC Word Banner Set 1',
that I have then layered onto my card.

For my second card, I have again used some of the 'Corner Mini Set 1',
that I have again finished in a crackle and antique pastes.

I have then used one of the 'Lace Squares', which I have layered in a frame from my papers, and some florals.

I have then added some dimension, and layered in one of the sentiments
from the 'ATC Word Banner Set 1'.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I will be back soon with more to share.

Until then

Lisa

'Treasure'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa back on the blog today to share some inspiration with you.
I have had a little break due to illness,
but I am happy to say that I have been scrapping again!

This is what I have created :)

2Crafty Chipboard products used:

I have used a photo of my gorgeous girl for this layout.
There was lots of fussy cutting for this one!

I have used some of the 'Lace Squares',
which were just about a perfect match for the damask pattern on my base paper!
So, I have left them raw and I have adhered them over the damask pattern.

I have also used some of the 'Foliage Set 6'
which I have embossed in white and tucked in among my florals.

To finish, I have used one of the 'Fine Word Set 1',
which I have also left raw, and adhered under the florals.

I'm really loving how this one turned out.
How lucky was I to match those Lace Squares to my papers!?!
I hope you like it too.

Until next time!

"Treasure" Shadowbox
by Elena Martynova

Hi dear friends!
It's Elena Martynova here today and I'm so excited
to share my new project.
For our blog, I made such an interior thing - a shadowbox "Treasure".

I wanted to dive into the world of mixed-media, and play with colors and textures.
In addition, the blank for the shadowbox has been lying around for several years.

I made two doors - top and bottom and immediately there
was a mystery - what is hidden behind them?
I decorated them with chipboard elements and small metal handles.

Let's open the top door first.

I put a picture of a lady in a frame here. Perhaps it was she who owned
these treasures, who knows... We also find two letters from the game Scrabble A and K.
It's probably her initials.

I used a mould by Finnabair to make these wonderful decorative elements.

Let's skip the Central part for now and open the lower door.
It hides three light bulbs, a clock chip on a metal flower, and three more letters.

In the Central part you will see an inscription with the name of the shadowbox,
I also added some metal jewelry and a glass bottle filled with microbeads.
I took 7 DOTs Studio paper for the background.

I was glad to inspire you today! See you soon, bye-bye!
