'Timeless Beauty"
layout by Rachael Funnell

 Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Rach with you today sharing my newest bit of 2 Crafty inspo..

"Timeless Beauty"

This features a photo of my beautiful daughter
and some really fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces:

Old World key/Lock set
Steampunk Border 9"
Steampunk Arrow set
Timeless Beauty title
2018

Let's start with the very so gorgeous Lock from Old World key/Lock set
What I did was trying my best not to lose any of that beautiful delicate detailing to this lock by
using a paintbrush and applying a very very light coat of gesso..

also added some gesso to this really cool Steampunk arrow I have sitting on the lock...

Next up is the title - Timeless Beauty
.where I just simply inked it twice with  nice forest green,
I really like how it has turned out... I also did the same to the 2018

Lastly, we have the beautiful Steampunk Border 9"
So I tried something a little different from my usual inking & gessoing...
I heat-embossed this board with a really pretty Rose Quartz...

DOESN'T IT LOOK GREAT!
Thanks for popping by
and until next time

'Picture Perfect'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!

It's Lisa here today to share some
boy / masculine inspiration with you.

I have used an older photo of my son, that I still love to scrap.

2Crafty Products used:

I have gone for natural tones and some vintage elements,
mixed with some steampunk for this layout.

I have left my chipboard raw to keep with the feel of the page.
I have used some of the 'Steampunk Gears Medium'
across my page.

I have used a few different vintage-themed tags.
I have layered my chipboard with these.

I have also used one of the 'Steampunk Arrow Set 1',
layered alongside my photo.

For my title, I have used one of the 'Mini Title Stick 2',
layered with one of the 'Mini Family Icons' and elements from my papers.

To finish I have used some of the 'Steampunk Gears Small',
scattered in among my other elements.

I really love the 'vintage boy feel' to this page.
I hope that this has inspired you to create today.

Until next time!

Lisa

'handsome' layout
By Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty fans!
Today I share with you this fabulous boy's layout,
featuring my son & some great 2 crafty chipboard pieces...

handsome (title)
Clock face disc
6" clock face frames
2019
Funky arrow
Steampunk arrow set
Chunky heart

I started with given all chipboard pieces a coat of gesso!
leaving the large 6"clock face frame white,
and framing this photo of my boy just perfectly..

cutting in half of the next size down clock face frame
leaving half white and inking the other half black..
Also inked black the smallest Clock face dics and the funky arrow....

Once the coat of gesso dried on the word handsome,
I then gave it a coat of gel medium &
once that dried inking it with a red ink!

Repeating that process to the chucky heart...
before adding the 2019..

lastly! leaving white steampunk arrows and
adding one to the bottom of my page & cutting the second
arrow in half  adding to the top left of my page...

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have been inpsired in someway today..
Until next time!

These Moments
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Yaaaay! Our annual family vacations are finally here and you all know what it means: it's time to let the pressure off and go a little crazy!! We started this amazingly yesterday with a bunch of nice frozen treats for everyone, and my son Liam was pretty proud of his blue tongue. This inspired me to prepare this layout, which I found captured the mood quite well.

"These Moments"

I left the "Steampunk Gears", behind the frame, to their natural chipboard color, as I found it blended very well with the shades I had chosen for the other chipboard pieces.

On the "Wire Stars", I sprayed some navy blue metallic paint.

For the "Steampunk Arrow Set", I applied white and blue embossing enamel.

On the title, "These Moments", I applied 2 coats of navy blue paste using a brush. For the "Diamond Chunk Bits" behind the picture, I applied charcoal metallic paint roughly to let the original chipboard finish show through a little.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:
Steampunk gear small [M00647]
Steampunk Arrow set [M00782]
Diamond Chunk bits [M00730]
Wire stars [M00623]
These Moments [W00540]

That's all for me today! I'll be back soon with more inspiration to share. We're going on a nice trip over the next few days so I'll have plenty of fresh new ideas to share with you! Until then, have fun creating!
