Moment With Emma - PLUS Process VIDEO

Hello all you 2Crafty friends and welcome to Thursday!
Today I'm sharing a boy page that really showcases the awesome chipboard
(be sure to check out the video for this page too).
I have kept papers to a minimum and let the chipboard really shine.

"Puddle Jumper"

Let me tell you about some of my finishes but firstly
I want you to see what chipboard I chose....

2Crafty Chipboard Used....
Steampunk Arrow Set
Steampunk Gears small
Lightbulb Word Set
Bracket Frames

So lets start with the Bracket pieces. For these I simply used emboss powders,
instead of using just one colour, I chose two that really contrasted from each other.

Again I totally embraced the imperfections.
These two colours just bounce off the chipboard very beautifully and
of course off the page against the white.

For the Steampunk Arrow I cut it in half to elongate it behind my image. I coated this with
some Rust effect pastes, building as I went. Once dry I rubbed a little Metallique Wax
over certain areas to highlight and add shade.

The Steampunk Gears and LightBulb I painted with black gesso, once dry, I dabbed
complimentary wax's to give them this rusty gear look.

The Bulb I decided to use a two tone effect by applying with my finger.

The mediums used on the chipboard really pronounce themselves off my page.

I loved playing with mostly only Chipboard, really making this the main focus of my page.
I hope you are a little inspired by this layout and don't forget to check out the video
to see exactly how it all came together.

#SNAPCHAT layout by Marie Sabatier

My third and last one for this month of November.

My inspiration is this picture of my son's arm with these tattoos and Steampunk chipboards including some of the new "Steampunk Arrow Set 1" collection.

For "Steampunk Arrow" chipboards I applied two coats of Lindy's Gang, Oakleaf Olive and Bronze Byzantine embossing powder

For the "Steampunk Strips" chipboards I applied a layer of Queen Sheba's Silver embossing powder and then skated with a rusty effect color without stressing

For the title, the clocks, the circle I applied black gesso and I also skated with a rusty effect color

A lot of work on this page but I had a great time working on these beautiful chipboards :

- Hastag word Set 2
- Clockfaces
- Steampunk Arrow Set 1
-Steamunk Strips
- Circle Revolution Frames
- Cherckerboard Panel

Here I finished for this month I hope you enjoyed it and if so do not hesitate

'Life's a Journey- Enjoy the Ride 2018'
Layout by Rachael Funnell

Hello 2 Crafty Fans....
Today I share with you all this grungy boy's layout I recently created,
featuring my son and using some really great 2 Crafty chipboard pieces!

'Life's a Journey ENJOY the RIDE'

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:
Steam punk arrow set
Domino Tiles
Square barber wire frame
Life's a Journey ENJOY the RIDE title
2018
Large gear

With the title which I think was just perfect for this photo and inspired by colours of my
boy bike & his clothing, I have inked the Life's a ENJOY the with black, then inking the
Journey with red & RIDE with blue...

Then to finalise my title for I inked a 2018 with black and adhered...

Wanting to draw focus to the photo and NOT overpower it, so I decided to use the larger
Square barber wire frame, as a frame on my photo, leaving it untreated (raw)...
Also! have peeking out on the bottom right side of photo is a Steam punk arrow, which
I had cut in half (keeping the other half for later on) and attached untreated/ raw....

Next I inked a Large gear with blue ink, cut in half  before adhering
each piece either side of the photo...

And finally!
Placed thoughout out my page are a few of the Domino Tiles, Which I have
cut  into two pieces & give all a couple of coats of gesso...

That's it from me today & I will be back later on this month.
 Until  then, HAPPY Crafting....
Cheers Rach!
