April Inspiration + VIDEO Tutorial
By Kareen Dion

Hi everyone!

It's my turn with my inspiration of the month! And today,
I share with you a video process of one of my layouts!

"Vacation"

My first layout is about vacation, that time that we are waiting for all year long!
It was in Summer 2017, on the beach. My children made peace for one minute
and let me take this beautiful picture.

For this layout, you have a video tutorial! I used several chipboards as ...:
11" Viney Border Frame. I cut it in several part to have the leaves instead of using
it all over my layout. I embossed them with black embossing powder, to contrast with
the rest of my embellishments.  I also used the Gigi's Flowers, Intricate Seahorses,
Oriental Flower Stems and the title "vacation" from the Mini Travel Word Set 2.

Here you can see the Intricate Seahorses, I embossed it and then added a little bit of
white gesso, just to give him more light to it. You also see the Gigi's Flowers that I used
under my flair.

The Gigi's Flowers are embossed with glitter embossing powder and
the word vacation with white embossing powder.

As you will see in the video, I used the Oriental Flower Stem in the background and
enhanced it with a little bit of white gesso, just to make it pop from the black background.

The final touch with the Mini Travel Word Set 2, with the title "Vacation".

"Cute"

For my second layout, I chose a picture of my daughter with our cat "Biscuit".
She is a real cat lover. I wanted to create a soft layout with this picture.

I used a lot of chipboards of course. I used the Beaded Hanging Heart Set,
Corner Leafy Swirls, Leafy Twig Branches and the Cute Loopy Font.

I almost always embossed my chipboards with embossing powder, it gives great coverage.
The Cute Loopy Font is no exception and I love the two-tones on it.

The Beaded Hanging Heart Set is embossed with the same color that the title,
to keep coherence on the layout. You can see the Leafy Twig Branches, I chose a
lighter color to soften my layout.

The Corner Leafy Swirls are also embossed with embossing powder, they have several tones in it.

July Inspiration - by Debbie

"Love Is In The Air"

Hi everyone!
Debbie here with your today to share my July projects featuring 2Crafty Chipboard!
My first layout is a romantic one.  I added some masking to the background and random stamping.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Beaded Hanging Heart
Fine Leafy Bush
Love is in the Air
Lacey Border Set
Corner Annalise

I used both of the Corner Annalise, one on each side of my picture.
Both were embossed with Antique Taupe embossing powder.

I embossed the Fine Leafy Bush with Verdant Embossing powder, then lightly inked the edges with a lighter green ink.  I cut the chipboard into pieces and placed it in several areas of my layout.

Here I've placed a piece from the Beaded Hanging Heart embossed with a mixture of
Antique Taupe and Plum Embossing powders.  I inked a piece from the Lacey borders
with a distressed ink and placed pieces randomly around my picture.

My title, Love is in the Air, was treated the same as the Beaded Hanging Heart,
embossed with a mixture of Antique Taupe and Plum embossing powders.

"Beautiful"

I was looking through some old pictures on my computer and came across this one I
took several years ago. I can remember that day, when I patiently waited to get that
"perfect" photo of the bee on my flowers. Lots of stamping and misting on the background paper.
I created this layout for the current challenge at the

Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo July Challenge - Beauty.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Bubble Clumps
Beautiful Loopy Font
Frame Lucy's Flourish
Oriental Flower Stem

I embossed the Frame Lucy's Flourish with a mixture of Ebony, Fuchsia and Verdant
embossing powders.  The same was used on the Bubble Clumps.  The bottom left of the
picture is a piece from the Oriental Flower Stem, embossed with Verdant embossing powder.
I added some microbeads to the Bubble Clumps.

The title was embossed with a mixture of Ebony and Fuchsia embossing powders.
  Love the effect!

Tucked beneath the pink is a flower piece I cut from the Oriental Flower Stem,
which I embossed with Fuchsia embossing powder.

I hope I've inspired you!

See you next month!

June Inspiration - By Lilibleu

"Follow Your Heart"

Hello 2 Crafty fans !!

Let me present you my two June projects.

For the first one, I wanted to work without any photo, so I decided to create a
canvas on which I let the spotlight be on my background and the chipboards.

My main pieces - the three circles "Sabine's Frame Set" - inspired my background on which,
using modeling paste, I made a lot of small circles like bubbles with a stencil, to give an
 aerial side to my canvas.

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

Freda's Butterflies
Fanciful Butterfly
Sabine's Frame set
-Oriental flower stems
Mini word set 1
-  Follow your heart title

My title is embossed in black to create a contrast with the rest of my work.
The "Sabine's Frame Set" circles are embossed with gold colored powder.
Blue, gold, black and white is a color combo I like a lot.

The "Oriental Flower Stems" foliage is embossed in white and I only added a clamp of
gold powder to give more texture. The "Freda's Butterflies" is embossed in gold.

The "Fanciful Butterfly" is painted in white with gesso then with acrylic paint.

To keep on playing with round elements, I added around my flowers a lot of
small beads of different sizes.

"Living the Dream"

For my second project, I made a page with a very lovely picture I found on Pinterest.
I wanted a shabby atmosphere by creating a case of greenery around the picture.

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

Frankie's Frames
- Tree with sparrows
word living the dream
Ivy Clusters
Friendship Mini Word Pack

The "Living the dream" title and the "Remember" word are embossed in black.
The pretty branch "Tree with sparrows" is painted white, then I painted the leaves
 with green liquid ink.

The "Ivy Clusters" foliage is painted with metallic green paint.

To highlight my picture, I used this beautiful "Frankie's Frames"
frame I find beautiful by its design and its finesse.

And that's all for today!
See you back here soon with some more 2Crafty inspirations.
