"Isn't She Lovely"
By Amy Voorthuis

 Hi lovely 2Crafty friends,

Welcome to this lovely blog, I made a very colorful layout to show you today and I
have used all these gorgeous chippies you see below. This layout was build with lots of
layers and I have used two Maja Design collections to do so.

Isn't She Lovely:

 2Crafty Chipboards used:
Isn't She Lovely
Clock Face Frames
Corner Fine Florals
Fine Word Set - Months
Circle Word Tag Set 1
Amelia Frames

The beautiful fine corner florals is treated with white gesso & embossing powder,
I wanted it to pop of my page. The clock face I firstly applied gesso on and then
some rust paste & and aqua acrylic paints an waxes.

On the word "march" I sprayed with some purple lindy's
and then I applied some matte wax.

I really love those word disks this one in particular I painted with different pink acrylic paints.

I really love making flower clusters on my pages and use as many chipboard pieces as I can.

To finish my layout I added some white spray & beautiful pearls. The photo was taken
on my husbands & my bithdays on March 6th.  Abbey showing of her new dress.

My Lovely Daughter
By Jenny J.

Good morning everyone!

Here is my second January inspiration at 2Crafty.

You will see below all the gorgeous pieces that I've used on that layout.

2Crafty Chipboard Used
-Star circular frames
-Interlocking grid panel
-Isn't she lovely
-Foliage set 6
-Foliage set 1
-Dandelions

As usual, I've started by covering my background paper with clear gesso.
Then, I've used modeling paste, 2 different stencils and some sprays to add a bit of textures.
I've displayed my photo on layers of cardboard and papers and of course,
a beautiful piece of 2Crafty chipboard: "Interlocking grid panel".
Both  pieces of this set are treated with black gesso and Finnabair's waxes.

The "Star circular frame" on my photo is simply sprayed.

That title, "Isn't she lovely" was the perfect one for my daughter's picture, don't you think?
That chippie is embossed with a gold embossing powder.

Below, you will see the "Dandelions" painted in white,
and one piece of the "Foliage set 1", sprayed with the same color as the Star circular frame.
There's another piece of that set under the title ;)

Finally, the other pieces named previously:
"Interlocking grid panel"
"Foliage set 1" but also
"Foliage set 6" which is  embossed with a teal powder.

"Isn't She Lovely" Video and Layout
By Marie SABATIER

Hello there, I present you my first inspiration for this month of February,
desire for sweetness and romance. I made the choice of a black and
white photo to match with my paper and the color of the chipboard

2Crafty Chipboard  used :

- Isn't she lovely-title
- Flower Doileys
- Parisian Border

I hope to inspire you by watching this video tutorial

I worked in the same way the chipboard lace effect "Flower Doileys" and
"Parisian Border" with a layer of white gesso and then a mixture of black
and gray ink to obtain the desired rendering.

I then brought texture with micro marbles, art stones and shine with spray.

Some close ups...

For the title I applied a layer of black gesso and just inked with a glossy gray.

I hope you enjoyed it, thank you for watching.
 Back soon with more.
