New Year Rainbow Fun with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!!

It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.

I hope you all had a great Christmas & New Year.

To start the New Year off I have had some rainbow fun.

'Follow your Heart'

2Crafty Products used:

I have kept this layout quite simple,

well other than cutting all those hearts from the papers by hand lol

I have used one of the 'Fern Leaf Set',

which I have left in white, against the rainbow heart.

And one of the 'ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars',

which I left raw.

I have also used one of the 'Elegant Hearts',

again finished in white. 

  

To finish I have used the 'Follow Your Heart' title,

that I have first coated in Gesso, and then used my watercolours 

to paint in the same rainbow scheme as my heart. 

I hope that you like what I have created, 

I am really happy with how this turned out.

March inspiration by Marie Claude Rodier "Follow your Heart"

Hello 2Crafty fans,

In my part of the world, spring is just around the corner. And after a rough winter, I am definitely ready for warmer weathers, longer days and outdoor activities.

This layout is all about enjoying these outdoor activities that we are so happy

to practice again when spring finally arrives. Sometimes simple things are the best.

I started my layout by tearing off several pieces of paper and
placing them on top of each other using cardboard to create dimension.

I then placed some pieces of Fencing wire panel under some pieces of paper
and applied white gesso using a dry brush.

After applying a layer of white gesso onto the Picket Fence piece, I added a layer

of white crackling paste. When it was dry, I dried brush brown ink over it.

Fine and fancy butterflies were dry brushed using white gesso.

Follow your heart title was embossed twice. First in white and then in rose gold.

Hi crafty friends! today I show you a layout in my favorite craft color...green...
I don't know why, but I love that color...

2Crafty chipboard Used:

Floral Heart

Fine Word Set 1

Decorative Rod Set 1

Decorative Rod Set 2

I simply started with gesso and water on my background. I put the mix on
my acrylic block and I stamped directly onto my paper.

I used Decorative Rod Set 2 and Decorative Set 1 without altering them.

 I simply cut one of each them to make my remainder. 

The title ''forever'' from Fine word set 1 & I heat embossed it with green powder.

I partially put gesso on the floral heart to contrast from the background and the title.

''Follow Your Heart''

Again this time, I let myself be inspired by colors and,
& like usual, the earth tones talked to me...

Marianne's Butterflies

I used some color and stencil on my background in the same colors
 from my paper and my altered chipboards. 

I altered Flowers with leaves by partially heat embossing them.

I altered Marianne's butterflies with gel medium and
 some mica, acrylic beads and white gesso.

I just painted in brown my title Follow your heart - title
and added some white gesso on the edges to make a contrast.

September Layouts With Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello 2Crafty chipboard Fans!

Today I have two layouts to share with you all. A bright,bold black page
 and a soft,ethereal page . Hope you like them both.

"Follow Your Heart"

My first page is this soft layout titled Follow your heart.
This is one of the newly released chippie titles and its absolutely gorgeous!

I love it :)

Some close ups-

I used distress ink to colour my Moroccan panel chipboard and the title chipboard.
 Next I doodled on them using white ink pen. I just couldn't resist using the doodling
 on the gorgeous font!!

The Ava's frame has been covered in white gesso and then coloured using watercolors.
 Once it was dry I applied glossy accents on it.

"Hello"

My second page is this layout I created. This page is all about chipboards
and how to make them stand out on you page.

All the background on the page has been done with the chipboard itself.
Isn't that awesome ? I love how it turned out. :)

 Some close-ups-

 I used the Prima Art alchemy paints for my background and to colour my chipboards.
 I dissembled the Circle Lace Panel chipboard panel and Flower doily chipboard to
 pieces to form my background.

 Next I painted on the chipboard pieces in chosen colours and stamped on the background.
 Once I was satisfied with the background I adhered the pieces o my page.
