'Story Time' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some 2Crafty inspiration with you.
I have created this layout using a photo of my daughter.

'Story Time'

2Crafty products used: 

For this layout I have used one of the 'Indian Dreamcatcher', 

that I have layered over one of the small 'Flower Doilies'. 

I have finished both pieces in a weathered white embossing powder. 

 I have used one of the foliage pieces from 'Foliage Set 8', 

that I have embossed in the same weathered white finish. 

I have also used some of the gorgeous 'Leafy Silhouettes',

also finished in a weathered white and tucked into my florals.

I also used one of the larger 'Flower Doilies' tucked into my photo stack,

again with the weathered white finish.

"Adore YOU" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to meet you again to present my second inspiration 

of this month of October.

A colorful layout featuring these stunning "Frame Mini Doodled".

And pictures of my granddaughter, who was barely 2 years old. Time flies.

"Adore YOU"

The 2Crafty Chipboard used:

- Frame Mini Doodled Set

- Foliage Set 8

- adore YOU

As always I protect the chipboards by applying a layer of gesso, here it will be white. 

If you ask yourself the question the frames measure approximately:

- 4,5 cm x 4,5 cm

- 6,5 cm x 6,5 cm 

I chose to embellish the frames simply with a Distress Oxide ink color "Antique Linen". 

I arrange the frames in offset not to give the vision of a strict and parallel rendering.

Except for the middle.

For the foliage I also used Distress Oxide ink but mixing different shades of pink yellow and orange 

to get the color that seemed to me the most in harmony with my page.

For the title I use embossing powder color "Poppin'Pink", 

I love the design of this title. 

I loved the new look, and I hope it encourages you to use these beautiful chipboards.

Perfection Panel Frame by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for February.
  I have Altered a Kaisercraft Panel Frame.

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Perfection

*Mini Doily Disc Set

*Chloe's Vines

*Foliage Set 8

I decided on keeping the panel frame raw and covered it it with the gorgeous Mintay 7th Heaven Papers.

Once the frame panels were covered, I added each of my photos.  I painted each of my chipboard pieces with Opal Shimmer Paint.  

I decorated each of the panels with fussy cut elements and an assortment of flowers.  Once I was happy I tucked the Chloe's Vines & Foliage 8 chippies randomly into the flower clusters.  I added one of the Mini Doily chippies to each of the panels of the frame and then the Perfection title to the centre panel.  I finished off the frame by lacing each panel together with some white organza ribbon.

'Spring Cards' with Lisa Amiet

 

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some spring inspiration with you.
I am soooo glad that Spring is finally here!

I have created a pair of cards
with lots of spring florals. 

2Crafty Products used:

For my first card, I have used one of the 'ATC Georgian Frames',
layered with one of the words from the 'Mini Word Set 1'.

I have painted the frame white and the title purple to match my papers.

I have also used one of the branches from 'Foliage Set 8'.

I have finished it first in white and then roughly painted the ends purple. 

I have also used one of 'Gigi's Flowers',

also finished in white.

For my second card, I have again used one of the branches from 'Foliage Set 8'.

again with the same white and purple finish. 

I have used one of the 'Flower Doilies', finished in white,

and layered with another of the words from the 'Mini Word Set 1',

painted purple. 

Lastly, I have used another of 'Gigi's Flowers',
finished in white and tucked into my layers.

"Beautiful Little Girl" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello and thank you again for your loyalty to 2Crafty.

I present to you my second inspiration for this month of August.

I was inspired by my little girl's outfit in this photo taken in a park.

With the dominant color green and blue.

"Beautiful Little Girl"

The 2Crafty chipboards used:

- Beautiful Little Girl

- Viney Circles

- Minibicycles

- Foliage Set 8

As always I applied a coat of white gesso on each chipboard.

On the "Viney Circles" chipboard I applied a first coat of embossing powder 

in "Merry Go Round Green" color then after heating a second coat 

in "Ghouly Goblin Green" color by Lindy's Gang.

On the "Minibiycles" chipboard I only applied a layer of embossing powder 

I wanted to contrast the shades of green a bit since 

I chose the same color for all the chipboards.

I also ended up applying a little gold wax to match with my paper.

I love these little sprigs of foliage, they harmonize 

the bouquet of flowers!

Contrary to my habits, I forget the title a bit but I like it.

I hope you liked my layout.

"This is my Story" Canvas by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone.

I present to you my first inspiration of this March.

A trendy Girly canvas with lots of chipboard and very flowery.

With a picture of my little girl in a unicorn dress

in the colors that inspired me for the realization of my canvas.

"This is my Story"

2Crafty Chipoard used :

- This is my Story

- Ornate Gateway

- Foliage Set 8

I used a 12X12 canvas board because I wanted a white background.

I applied a layer of transparent gesso on the bottom and

using stencil and texture paste I drew patterns.

Then on the background I added pink and purple ink.

I then embellished the particle boards. Beforehand, 

I applied a layer of white gesso and "shabby white" embossing powder.

I placed the "Ornate Gateway" particle board first, then continued 

to layer many layers of paper and ornaments to get relief.

I love the details of this door, it is very chic!

I then placed a lot of "foliage" chipboard I wanted a very bushy effect.

I added pebbles, metallic beads, half crystal beads and big cabochons.

I placed the title on my photo prominently.

I chose this title "This is my Story" because like many little girls, she loves princess dresses

 "that's her story".

The Magic of Snow by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Happy new year to each and everyone of you!
I hope that 2021 will be an amazing year, full of joy, love, laughter and crafting! 

So far here 2021 has treated us with a nice snowfall on new years day and some beautiful mild weather since then. It's perfect for our dog Neho, who just loves snow above almost everything else in life. When there's nice snow like this, he'll spend hours playing and frolicking in the snow, when he pretty much refuses to go outside during the hot summer days.

"The Magic of Snow"

I separated the "Corner Crackle" in two in order to use it as a background texture and applied some old silver wax on it

On the "Berry Vine Set", I applied a red metallic paint and then dabbed a bit of silver embossing ink on top. Finally, I traced the borders with black ink. For the "Foliage Set 8", I used a pewter metallic paint and also inked the borders with black ink.

On the title "The Magic of Snow", I applied one coat of black embossing powder and then dabbed some silver embossing ink on top to give a snowy effect on the black.
