"Altered Tissue Box"
with Amy Voorthuis

 Good morning lovely 2Crafty friends.
How wonderful of you all to stop by the 2Crafty Chipboard blog. For today I want to show you  a altered tissue box made with a bunch of my favorite 2Crafty Chippies. This box is based on my daily job as a optician. Vanessa made me some amazing tabs with all words used in optics and I used three of them on my box. I made this for at my job to show in the lunch area. For this I used a golden oldy collection from 2012.....enjoy my post!

Olde Curiosity Shoppe Tissue Box:

Wonderful 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Giant Gears
Foliage Set 12
Cassie Flourish
Frame Flourish 5
Frame Madeline Flourish
Francesca's Journal Frames

I altered most of my chippies with some white gesso then for the frames I used my aqua & alcohol markers in different colours. Normally I love to add a bunch of phrases & words but for this one I used none which was a huge test for me lol...

For the giant gears I altered those with some brown rust paste after I primed them with two layers of white gesso. After that I added two of them on top of each other with some glue and a huge brad to add some demension. The tabs Vanessa made for my I left them in their raw state which look the best on my box.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project soon hope to see you back then....

March Inspiration By Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone, I come to present my two new pages for the month
of March, which is still cold here in France. So need comfort and create ...

"Magical Memories"

Need warm and bright colors !!
With this photo I wanted to gild and very structured chipboard.

I worked on my page background by adding a stamping and embossing
powder in a light color to give relief and I also stamped with black ink.

For the chipboards I applied a layer of white gesso that I then inked with two colors, a turquoise blue and a golden yellow, I ended up with a layer of gilding applied with my finger.

For the title I just added a layer gilding effect

And to finish some embellishments...

Here are the 2CraftyChipboard I used :

- Cassie's flourish
- Decorative-Rod-Set
- Magical Memories

For my second page I really wanted to make a page with a very  real
spring feel to it with this picture of my little girl that I love !!!

"Spring is here"

For the bottom of my page I wanted to highlight a color I applied using
a stencil and a light modeling paste a pattern effect pebble I then
before drying covered with a powder embosser green color.

All chipboards have been coated with embossing powder.

To finish the embellishment with the circle in bloom.

The 2CraftyChipboard I used :

- Spring is here
- Thistle Shrubs
- Valentine branch
- Iron fence

Hoping to have given you some warmth and the desire to create .....

See you soon

December Inspiration by Kareen Dion

Hello 2Crafty's Fans!
It's my turn this month to inspire you! It's December already,
Santa Claus will come very soon!!! Are you ready?

 - Remember Moments Like This -

For my first layout, I took a picture of my daughter with the real Santa Claus.
I used traditional Christmas colors with a touch of gold. I used "Foliage Set 1" with
green glitter embossing powder to add a little extra touch on the layout. I also used "Cassie's Flourishes" behind the picture and took the "Remember moments like this" as a title.

Here's the title "Remember moments like this" with red embossing powder.

You can see the green glitter embossing powder on the "Foliage Set 1"
it gives a little plus on the layout.

And the "Cassie's Flourishes" with cream/gold embossing powder!

********************

For my second layout, I choose a winter picture but decided to go with purple with my layout.
We often see blue and silver tones for winter's layout. So I decided to make a change.
I used the Star Bright Snowflakes, the Frame Celia's Flourish
and the Mini Word Set 2 "Together".

- Together -

I embossed the Star Bright Snowflakes with white embossing powder.

I did the same for the Mini Word Set 2 "Together", white embossing powder.

And for the  Frame Celia's Flourish, I embossed it with black
embossing powder to enhance my picture.

October projects by Kavitha

Hello 2crafty fans,

Kavithe here today to share my October projects

"What a wonderful day" Layout

First I have a layout to share inspired by the gorgeous autumn colors.
I used 6" clock face frame behind my photo which
is heat embossed with glitter black embossing powder.
I heat embossed two Cassie's flourish pieces with copper embossing powder
and added it to top and bottom of the page
For the title I used "What a wonder day" which I left raw to make it
pop amongst the colors.
