Hello & a warmest welcome to the 2 Crafty blog.
Today I have another layout to share, featuring myself, my hubster
& some fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard including a new release...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Captured Memories
Foilage Set 13
Travel Icon Set
2021

(the papers I have used are the gorgeous Unmistakable Creations - Flora Views)

Let's Start with my Title - "Captured Memories" and what a great title might I add...
I have simply Inked this Title with Tim Holtz - Distressed Ink in Dusty Concord
Next I have added the Yr 2021 and I have given the 2021 a nice thick coat of gesso...

Next are these SUPER C.U.T.E foilage pieces from the Foilage Set 13
and these from the new release, I have given these beauties a coat of gesso.
Don't they look great sitting amoungst the fussy cutting & flowers..

And lastly is the cute travel bag & guide from the Travel Icon Set
again I have just simply inked these, using Tim Holtz - Distress inks in Speckled egg & rusty hinge...
I am really happy with this layout, I hope I have inpsired you in some way.

Captured Memories Layout by Tania Ridgwell

Hello there!

Tania with you today to share the second of my DT projects for August.  I have created a layout.

"Captured Memories".

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Captured Memories
*Angie's Vines
*Wrought Iron
*Lace Doily

Once I had created my background I set about putting my page together. I first added some paper under the photo to build up some layers .

I coloured the Captured Memories, Angie's Vine's and Lace Doily with Prima Wax Rose Gold.  I added lots of fussy cut elements and assorted flowers around the photo.  I cut up the Angie's Vines and the tucked pieces in amongst them.

I added the Captured Memories title to the bottom left of the photo.  To finish off the page I added a raw Wrought Iron chippie to the top and bottom of the layout, tucking them under the paper layers.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.  Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

Tania xx

Chipboard in Project Life - Annelie

Hello from a rainy and miserable New Zealand. Hope the sun is shining on YOU wherever YOU are!!

Are you doing Project Life this year? It seems to be very popular, and after thinking about it the last couple of years, I decided to do it this year.

At first, I found it hard to not embellish as much as I would on a normal scrapbooking page, but now - a few weeks into it - I'm feeling OK.

The VERY VERY cool thing with 2Crafty chipboard is that they are so thin, and works really well in my PL album, without making it too bulky. So this week, I am showing you how I included two new 2Crafty pieces in a weekly spread.

On the left side I have used the Captured Memories piece. I ran it through an embossing folder on the Cuttlebug first, then I used Studio Calico white mist on it. Love the result!

Oh the right side I used the Everyday Moments

I did the same thing here, on the bottom circle - cuttlebug & spray. On the top piece, I used red Tim Holtz distress ink.

If you are using 2Crafty chipboard in your Project Life - please let me know so that I can have a look!!

Captured Memories - Nina

Hiya 2Crafty followers!
today i am sharing a layout i have created using some of the gorgeous new 2Crafty chipboard!

I absolutley LOVE the new chipboard phrases and titles .... yummo!! they make creating a layout or project lots more fun!

I have used the "captured memories" title for my layout along with one of the "fay's flourishes" which i have cut into 2 seperate pieces.  I love to cut up my chipboard pieces for 2 reasons ... firstly, you can get more out of your chipboard shape, and secondly, it totally alters the shape and therefore the outcome, yet still balances and intergrates with the theme and/or design, perfectly!

The "captured memories" title, has been painted with acrylic paint, both in pink and white.  The white portion has also been outlined with a sharpie marker, before a coat of dimensional magic.

The "fay's flourish" pieces were painted with teal acrylic paint and also coated with dimensional magic.

Happy creating!
Smiles,
Nina
