"Sweet" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

A few days ago, Amy posted a layout in tribute to a three-year-old boy, "Phoenix", 

who died following an accident. 

He died after being hit by a car. With this photo entrusted by Amy. 

I in turn wanted to pay homage to him through a layout.

I am a mother and a grandmother. I can't even imagine the heartache this family must endure, 

without this little boy who was just asking to live.

"Sweet"

The chipboard used:

card-word-packs-friendship

loved-forever-in-our-hearts-title

frame-handdrawn-heart

acorn-foliage-set

mini-lattice-bits

      

In memory of this little boy, I created an autumnal page in warm and comforting colors.

    Each chipboard was protected with a layer of white gesso.

I chose these two beautiful "Frame Handdrawn Heart" hearts which I embellished with 

Lindy's Gang "Cowabunga Copper" ink.

I made a cluster using the "Acorn Foliage Set" chipboards, I mixed Lindy's Gang and Oxide Distress 

inks to get these beautiful colors. I layered them with cardboard to give them more relief.

The word "Sweet" is covered in white acrylic paint.

These 'Mini Lattice Bits' I just received are amazing and go so well for adding structure to the layout. They fit wonderfully.

    To finish, I added this phrase "Loved & Forever in our Hearts", which is so heartfelt.

I don't want to send a message of sadness but a lot of love.

    It was with a lot of love that I created this layout.

'Autumn Love' with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some chippie inspiration with you.
I have created this layout featuring my gorgeous girl :)

'Autumn Love'

2Crafty products used: 

For this layout, I have gone with a warm autumn vibe. 

I have used the 'Acorn & Foliage Set',

that I have finished in an autumn multicolour finish,

using watercolors and sprays.

I have also used pieces of the 'Parisian Border',

that I have cut up and finished in a watercolour purple effect. 

I have used this on the edge of my page.

I have also used one of the 'Foliage Set 10',

that I have also finished in a multicolour effect.

This gorgeous berry piece is from the 'Acorn & Foliage Set',

which I have also finished in the same way. 

I gave the leaves the same multicolour finish,
 and the berries have a purple watercolour finish.

I really love how this whole set
works so well with my papers and autumn vibe.

I hope that you like what I have created
 and that it inspires you to create something today.

"Just Adorable" Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone, 

I am happy to meet you again to present my first inspiration for this month of October.

How time flies...

I created a slightly autumnal layout, and this photo of my little girl Mia 

that I already scraped but with a different pose.

"Just Adorable"

The 2CraftyChipboards used:   

- Just Adorable

- Dotted Heart Circles Frames

- Heart & Circle Arrows

- Acorn & Foliage

    As always I apply a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

I started by embellishing the "Dotted Heart Circles Frames" chipboards 

I chose pink embossing powder to match my paper and my photo. 

I added touches of bronze waxes.

To match my fall theme I added "Acorn & Foliage" chipboards that 

I also embellished with embossing powder I love embossing powders.

For the chipboard "Heart & Circle Arrows" I proceeded 

in the same way behind the heart I added paper.

I then placed the particle boards in a condensed but not crushed way 

I like the final effect so much!

Without forgetting the title that I placed in the circle. 

On the chipboards I added waxes and a little white gesso for a mixed media effect.

Here I am finished,

'Journey' with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!

It's Lisa here on the blog today to share my latest layout with you.

'Journey'

2Crafty Chipboard Products used:

For this layout I have used a recent photo of my daughter. 

I wanted to keep all my elements having a natural feel.

I have used one of the hinges from the 'Hinges Pack',

 in among my elements.

I have left my chipboard raw to keep with the feel of the page.

I have also used some of the 'Acorn and Foliage Set',

in among my layers. 

I have also used pieces of the 'Moroccan Bits' in the background.

Some forest elements that work well with my chippie pieces. 

To finish I have used one of the 'Fine Word Set 3',

that I have layered across my elements, under the photo. 

I really love the forestry feel to this page. 

Lots of nature elements to pull it all together.
