Beck BT Says Goodbye
With Her June Project Shares

Hi, it's Beck Beattie here sharing with you my last projects.  I have had so much fun
playing with all the chippies, but unfortunately my term has come to an end. I will still
be sharing lots of chippy creations on my blog, so do head past there when you get time
(just click on my name at the bottom of the post)...
Well with all that sadness dealt with.... here we are with this months share!

  But before we start....
Please remember while you are here  to become a blog follower & leave a blog comment to
be eligible to go in our monthly draw for a great chippie prize pack.

  "Love is a Journey"
I used three different designs of chipboard on this canvas all in different way, and I
cant wait to show you how I incorporated different effects on each of them!

I also have video to share this month of this canvas I created. Hope you enjoy it!

I cut the circle lace panel into strips and then added to the corners of the canvas.  To add
more interest to them I first added Faber-Castell Black Chalkboard paint.  I then added colour
with Gelatos, followed by some  Gesso using a baby wipe to sponge it on.

I altered the corner Ivy chipboard piece and then added a gold colour spray.  I then added some   Gelatos in champagne and metallic melon over the top.  I also added some water with a mini mister to help the colours blend a little.

I added colour to the title piece with  Gelatos, followed by some  Gesso

 "Masculine Card"
Today I also wanted to share with you a mixed media masculine card.

I enjoyed adding some different products on this one as well, altering the chipoard
colours in fun ways with various mixed media products.

I adhered the Stacked circles missing one in between size each time and then added
a coat of  Gesso.  I then added some Gelatos colour to the background.

I coloured up the 'Happy Birthday' words with a brown Faber-Castell PITT Artist Big Brush pen.

Next I added lots of layers of Gelatos in various colours for a mottled and aged look.

March Inspirations By Jaya Rahuvanshi

Hello Everyone!
This is Jaya here with you all.
Today I have a few projects to share with you.
A mixed media canvas and a layout.

"Dream"
I had been wanting to make a mixed media canvas something like this for so long.
When I got these chippies in my DT pack, I knew I could go ahead.

These dream catcher chippies are so gorgeous and intricate. It was fun to create
this canvas with them.

Some close-ups-

Look at that intricate pattern! Isn't it gorgeous?

I applied some white acrylic paint to my chipboard pieces and once it was dry I mixed
some glitter with soft matt gel and randomly applied it to the chipboards. Next was
adding some DecoArt Metallic Lustre in Gold and champagne ice. They look
absolutely amazing after this treatment!

On this particular piece I added some embossing enamel and
micro-beads for added texture.

Love that 'Dream loopy font' chippie. I have loads of navy blue glitter on it
coupled with highlighting with DecoArt champagne ice metallic lustre paint.

The moon like chipboard that you see here is actually a left over from
Circular leafy frame chipboard. I love how beautifully it mimics moon. I
painted it with Gold DecoArt metallic lustre paint.

"Amaze Yourself"
For my next project I wanted to make something depicting nature in the raw form.
So I decided to create something that was  highly textured using just  the shades
of greens and greys.

The wonderful chippies from 2Crafty made this possible. I just love those gorgeous
Anchors and Shrub chippies. Aren't they the most gorgeous and intricate pieces
to add to your beach/sea theme pages?
Have a look at the page-

Some close-ups-

I wanted to keep raw look of the chippies but at the same time add some colour and shine.
So I coloured my chipboard pieces with some brown watercolour pastels and once it was
dry I added some liquid gold sparkle sparingly to them. Have a look.

I also did some doodling on my anchor chippie to make the lines stand out after
colouring. The shrubs and leaves were first embossed with dark green and teal embossing
powders and later I added a hint of yellow at places. It gave them the perfect natural
 look I was aiming for.

That is all from me today. I hope you were inspired with these projects.
See you again soon!

February Inspiraton By Marianne Johansson, Norway

"Magical Memories"

Hi all 2Crafty fans!
Thanks for stopping by the blog to check out my February inspiration.

But before we get started...

Another photo of our oldest daughter in London, this time riding the
London Eye (her sister is the photographer).

The trip and the ride on the London Eye was for sure a magic moment for the
two girls and I knew I had the perfect title for the layout.

Once again I have layered some of the chippies, here the Circle Lace Panel and Mini Branches.

The background is made with light modelling paste and different stamps and colors.

The title is almost neutral, just a bit gesso in random places.

One of my favorite chippies is the Square Collage Panel and here I have cut it into
several pieces and used both on top and bottom of the photo.

Made a little "frame" of the above panel , glued some notepaper inside.

"Favorite"

Everyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am regarding Johnny Depp !!!
I really believe he's one of the best actors out there
(and it doesn't hurt that he's so good looking LOL )

So enjoy my layout with lots of Johnny Depp.

Here I used the Fiddlestick Panel in several places. Love cutting up these panels!

I cut out the  circles chippies  and placed letters inside them.

The Barbed Wire matched my page as a bit rough and tough.

And of course I needed to show my love for Johnny Depp with the "Elegant Heart"
 on top of the photos.

The background is made with Gesso, mist, watercolors and stamps.

All the chippies have a layer of gesso and a bit of purple mist here and there.

I did some simple drawing on the page as well, hearts, circles  and lines.
