Hello 2Crafty friends.
Emma with you today with a canvas project.

Here is the awesome chipboard used:

Fancy Damask
Decorative Rod set 1
Steampunk gears small

This project started with a 5x7in canvas. Knowing that I wanted a slight medieval/steampunk vibe, the pieces of chipboard selected set this off awesomely.

It has multi layers starting with a So EmBellishment rice paper and then adding texture with texture paste and Seth Apter baked velvet emboss powder. Then came a little colour with a couple of Distress oxide sprays. The Fancy Damask and Decorative Rod were painted first with  a layer of acrylic paint and then another emboss powder, again Seth Apter, but in a baked texture.

The Steampunk gears and resins were painted with black gesso and then coated with a Distress Glaze. Then the resins had a hint of Prima wax added for more texture.

The finishes on the chipboard really make them pop and compliment each element on the project. You can watch these pieces and the whole canvas coming together in the video.

Hello 2Crafty friends!

Today I'd like to share a layout featuring my favorite little cheerleader!
I really like this picture and wanted to create a little something to celebrate
 my daughter's favorite sport.

"Beautiful"

On the "Frame Madeline's Flourish", I applied some burgundy embossing powder 

and dabbed some copper embossing ink on top.

For the "Mini Branches", I used copper-blue enamel embossing powder.

On the "Fancy Damask", I applied navy wax roughly to let the original chipboard color show through.

For the title, "Beatiful Loopy Font", I applied a red shimmering paint.

"Isn't She Lovely"by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

I'm back to share my first inspiration for this month.
 November here in Quebec is cold, dark, rainy and damp, very damp.
While we're waiting for the first big snowfall to brighten up everything, I've decided
 to prepare a bright and colorful layout featuring my beautiful daughter, Mila. 

"Isn't She Lovely"

For the "4" Mandala #1", I've used purple ink and then applied a purple 

metallized glaze.  Then I used a black ink to trace the contour.

For the title, "Isn't She Lovely", I applied black embossing ink. On the 

"Fancy damasque", behind the title, I used a purple glaze and inked the contour.

I painted the "Freda's Butterflies" with teal metallized paint. Behind everything,

 on the "Glenda's Swirl", I used some teal embossing ink.

On the "Shrub Set 1", I used a rose gold wax and inked the contour.

"Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful" by Kareen Dion

Hi everyone!

It's my turn to show you some inspiration!

Can you believe we are already in May? I can't wait to be in Summer in Canada.

Warm weather should arrive pretty soon. But, let me talk about my layout today.

*Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful*

My layout is a picture of my little daughter who turned five years old in March.

She's always helping me to have more pictures for my layouts, she's nice don't you think? 

I used the "Flourish Adornment Set 3"in the background of my layout. 

I embossed it with a frantage embossing powder with green tones.

I also used the "Fancy Damask" and cut it into have two parts. 

I put one on the side and one under the title. It is embossed with white embossing powder.

And finally, I used the title "Be your own kind of Beautiful". 

I cut the "Be your" part to fit in my picture.

April Inspiration by Sabrina

Hello 2Crafty fans,

It is my turn to share my projects for April.
My first project puts my hubby and I in the spotlight.
 Even after 18 years together, we're still in love. 

"Love is in the Air"

For the title, "Love is in the Air", I used a gold embossing powder

 which really makes the text stand out.

I applied a pink metallic embossing enamel on the "Ava's Frame"

 that blends well with the background.

I first painted the "Climbing rose bush" with a black matte paint.

 When dried, I applied a gold embossing ink.

I used a silver metallic paint on the "Fancy Damask", diluted with water. 

Then, on top of the paint, I applied a pink embossing ink.

"Family Forever & Always"

The second project I want to show you today is quite special for me. I did the 

"Family forever & always" layout as a gift for a close friend, hard-working

 mom of three that just graduated from university.

On the "handdrawn feathers", I applied a red-gold embossing powder.

To give this nice rusty look to the "Hearth Clumps", I used a red ink,

 then applied some gold-copper embossing ink on top.

Finally, on the title "Family forever & always", I applied a white-pink embossing enamel.

For this layout, I used the 2Crafty Chipboards:

April Inspiration with Elena Martynova

Hello my dear friends!

Elena with you to share two projects created with 2 Crafty Chipboard goodness!

 My first project is an album designed for wedding photos.

 "Love Note"

 I saved up this delicious chipboard in the form of an Vintage Hourglass
 specifically to decorate the cover.

 For this album I have 7 different chipboard pieces. 

The first spread is decorated with a very beautiful and elegant twig with roses.

I combined plain watercolor paper as my background and a collection of paper

 from Prima Marketing "Zella Teal".

The album is made in soft colors, so chipboard covered 
with gold paint looks especially advantageous!

 For the second spread I have used chipboards:
 Design Elements, ATC Georgian Frames and Corner Annalise

For the third spread I have used chipboards: Beaded Hanging Heart Set

 and word PRECIOUS from Mini Word Set 2.

 The fourth turn is decorated with a magnificent openwork  Elegant Heart
 and a frame from a set ATC Georgian Frames

 I made larger photos so you can see they look great !

 And last spread I decorated with Fancy Damask

As a complement to my album, I made two lovely envelopes in which newlyweds

 can put letters to each other or wedding vows or congratulations from guests.
