Merry Christmas Exploding Box - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!
I am getting ready for the upcoming Holiday Season and creating a few cards!
There are many perfect additions to your Holiday Card making in the 2Crafty Store!

2Crafty Products Used:

Holly Flourish
Fernlike Snowflakes
Crystal Snowflakes
Card Word Circle Set
Christmas Deer Head

For the outside I die cut some circles then after prepping the snowflakes and title with white gesso I inked them then applied some brown glitter on the edges

I layered the handmade poinsettia with the holly flourish with lots of glitter and another snowflake

For the inside I kept with the snowflake theme that I added to the poinsettias.  For the center I trimmed down the Christmas deer head so the box lid would fit on and nestled it amongst more poinsettias.  I inked both sides brown then added the glitter including a bit of blue on the accent pieces of the deer head.

I LOVE the deer head!  Its so elegant and pretty!

Thanks so much for stopping by

Floral Plaid Christmas Cards
by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the first of my DT projects for November.
I have created a set of Christmas Cards.

2 Crafty Products Used:

*Fernlike Snowflakes
*Bush Nut Floral Clusters
*Mixed Fine Border Set
*Foliage Set 7

I created each of my card bases using the beautiful Paper Rose Christmas Plaid Collection.  I used Gold Leaf Paint to colour the Fernlike Snowflakes and Foliage Set 7 chippies pieces and once dry I added some Art Alchemy Red Paint to the Snowflake centres.  I used Art Alchemy Red Paint to colour the Bush Nuts & Mixed Fine Border chippies.  Once the Border & Bush Nut chippies were dry I randomly dabbed on some of the Gold leaf paint over them.  To construct each of the cards I added the Fernlike Snowflakes to each and then embellished them with fussy cut flowers and paper blooms.  I cut up one of the Borders, Bush Nuts & Foliage Set 7 chippies and tucked pieces into the fussy cut elements and blooms on each of the cards. I finished off each card with a Gold Foil Christmas Sentiment,

See each card below.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Christmas Cards.

Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.
Tania xx

Cherish Your Yesterdays,
Dream Your Tomorrows
and Live Your Todays
By Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Happy April everyone! I'm back for my first post of the month with a new layout to reveal
. This time around, it features my husband as we were playing in the snow a few weeks ago,
after the last snowstorm of the winter.

I inked the "Fernlike Snowflakes" with teal ink and then applied white enamel powder
towards the center. Then, for the "Steam Punk Strips", I've roughly applied blue
embossing powder to let the natural cardboard colors show through in a few spots.

On the "Sybills Name Plates", I applied white diluted paint so it would not be completely opaque.

For the title, "Cherish your yesterdays", I applied 2 coats of teal embossing powder.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

[W00419] Cherish your yesterdays title
[M00781] Steampunk strips
[M00611] Fernlike snowflakes
[M00365] Sybill's Name plates

That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed it and it gave you some ideas
for your own creations! I'll be back soon with more sparkles of inspiration to share.

 Until then, have fun creating!

December Inspiration - A Layout & A Home Decor
PLUS TWO VIDEO TUTORIALS
By Mary Catt

''Christmas Joy''

Hello 2Crafty fans!
Mary here with you today with my last post for 2Crafty Chipboard. It's so hard for me to
step down from a team that I have been a member for more than one year. It has been one
of the best teams ever and I am so honored I was a part of it. I had a really great time
creating with these gorgeous chipboards and I really hope to return in the future.
But for now, let's take a look at the projects I made for my December inspiration.
I created a layout and a Christmas home decor on wooden slides and both are having
 video tutorials.
My first layout was made with lots of flowers, some Christmas embellishments
combined with some beautiful chipboard pieces.
You can watch the VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure here.

I based my page on the 13arts ARTelier December sketch challenge.

2Crafty Chipboards used...
 Stars
Swirly Star Border
Xmas Mini Word Pack

 Here are some close ups...

First, I made a mixed media background with modeling paste and a stencil and did some random stamping. Then, I added color with the ''Pastel Cobalt'' and the ''Pastel Lavender'' 13arts mists.

I painted the ''Stars'' and the ''Swirly Star Border'' chipboards with the ''Gold'' splash ink.

The title words from the ''Xmas Mini Word Pack'' was also painted with the ''Silver'' splash ink.

Finally, I added some ''Natural Mika Flakes'' and made  some splatters with ''White'' splash ink.

''Christmas Wishes''

My second project is a Christmas home decor piece created with lots of
chipboards along with some beautiful Christmas flowers and lots of glitter.

You can see the procedure on my VIDEO...

I based my page on the Mixed Media Place December challenge.

2Crafty Chipboards used...
 Holly Twig
Deer Head Set
Mini Reindeers
Stellar Snowflakes
Fernlike Snowflakes

 Here are some close ups...

I started by applying a coat of white gesso on the wooden slices. Then, I created
texture with modeling paste mixed with mini art stones.

While waiting the paste to dry, I heat embossed all the chipboards with the ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' Lindy's Gang embossing powder, then I sprinkled some white glitter on them.

I used some Lindy's Gang sprays such as ''Salt Water Taffy'', ''Alpine Ice Rose'' and
''Autumn Maple Crimson'' to add color on the wooden slices.

As a final touch, I used Snowflake Paste here and there and some made splatters
with white gesso diluted with water.

Well, that was all from me today...

I really hope you enjoyed these projects and all the previous ones I've shared with you.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
