Beautiful Girls
by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!
Tania joining you today to share the last of my DT projects for February.
I have created another layout for my second share.

"Beautiful Girls"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Floral Cluster Set 1
*Corners Florabella
*Beautiful Girls
*Meghan's Border

I have used the stunning Uniquely Creative 'Serenity' Collection to create the base for my layout.

I coloured the Floral Cluster, Florabella Corners and Beautiful Girls Chippies with Art Alchemy Opal Magic Violet-Gold Acrylic Paint.  Once the Floral Cluster and Florabella chippies were dry I randomly dabbed on some Dylusions Laidback Lilac Paint onto them.  I coloured the Meghan's Border chippie with Dylusions Laidback Lilac Paint and once this was dry I did the same but this time I randomly dabbed on the Art Alchemy Opal Magic Violet-Gold Acrylic Paint.

I added paper layers under my photo and then added it to my background page.  I added the Florabella Corner chippie to the bottom left of my photo and then added lots of fussy cut elements and paper blooms.  I tucked the Floral Cluster chippies in amongst the fussy cut elements.  I cut the Meghan's Border chippie in half and added one of each of the halves to either side of my photo.  I finished on my page by adding the Beautiful Girls chippie along the bottom of my photo.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.
Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

January Inspiration by Marie Sabatier

Hello and thank you for welcoming me to your fabulous team.
I am very happy and proud to be able to join a team of great renown.
I will try not to disappoint you with my creations...

Today I present you Mia, my little girl, of 30 months which
you will see very often in my work ....

Thank you very much to Di and Vanessa....

  "TREASURE"

Christmas is a magical time and I wanted to bring out the
white color that is representative of purity....

My paper suited & I just applied a layer of transparent gesso over it.
I also did a little stencilling and added a small amount of black ink ....

For the frame I cut a cardboard circle that I covered with a white cotton thread
and then I stuck very very fine feathers and some flowers in the colors of Christmas ...

I covered the chipboards with white Gesso and then I embossed them
with "Purely White" embossing powder to get a perfect white .....

For the title "Treasure" I also heat embossed it with a hot silver color ....

2Crafty chipboards used:
- Fredas butterflies
- Sammi swirls
- Fine word set 1

"BEAUTIFUL GIRL"

Here is my second page "Beautiful Girl". As I told you about my little girl, you will
often find that she does not always look like an angel , but a little "rebel" ......

I chose this wonderful paper according to the colors of my photo, for the bottom of my page I just applied a transparent gesso, a little white gesso, some stains with the help of a stamp that I covered with embossing powder and with a texture paste already dyed
with some drops of colour for effect ....

I worked the chipboards only with the rusty effect patina and another
 of the Haematite color.

The title "Beautiful Girl" is heat embossed, the headline advantage
and the rendering is superb ....

2Crafty chipboards used:
- Grid panel
- Beaded Hanging Hearts
- ....................

I finished off by adding some flowers, pearls ..... and droplets of white gesso ....

Thanks a lot and see you soon.......

December Inspiration PLUS A Photo Tutorial
By Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello 2Crafty chippies fans!
This is Jaya here today with my December inspiration projects.

"Beautiful Girl"

I love the Hand drawn heart Frames. I Heat embossed it in gold embossing powder.
I also used the ATC Tiny hearts on my page. I coloured them in red and the
lightly applied gesso on top to lighten the colour.

The "Beautiful girl" title was first given a thick coat of gesso. Next I sprinkled some
white glitter and diamond dust on top of it to give more texture. When it was completely
dry I sprayed on some green and orange mist on top.

The arrows were sponged with white gesso. The sponging gives a gorgeous effect to any chippies.

My next project is this card I want to share

"On This Day"

I love this  chippie frame and had loads of fun altering it. I also have a picture tutorial
to share with you on how I did it.

 Picture tutorial-

1- Add a layer of white gesso on the chipboard pieces
2- Once its dry, give some details with the help of any dimensional paint.
 I used liquid pearls.

3- Let the paint dry perfectly and then coat the chipboard with gesso.
4-  Highlight the raised details with chalk edger.

Step  5- I gave a coat of fine white glitter .  This step is optional though.
Step 6- Next I heat embossed the frame with clear embossing powder and shabby
white embossing powder in some areas to give it a nice antique ornate look.

Step 7- I brushed some gesso on the chippies and coloured using chalk edgers.
Dabbed some more gesso to give snow effect.
Step 8-  I coloured the title chipbbaord with pink chalk edger and dabbed
some gesso on it as well.

Beautiful Girls by Stéphanie

Hello everyone !

It's time for me to come and share my new work with my new 2CRAFTY CHIPBOARD!
I was excited to use the chipboard again and I hope that you will like my use
of these beautiful embellishments.
I have two daughters, and it is a pleasure to work with such beautiful photos.
Sharing a really beautiful moment, that I was able to capture on film,
I have been waiting to do something special with this beautiful photo of my two girls.
So when I discovered this 2Crafty title "Beautiful Girls", I didn't hesitate to work with it.
I really like to see  the many little words/titles that  there are in store at
2 Crafty Chipboard, it's amazing how much choice there is !

So, it's now time  for me to share this girly layout :

"Beautiful Girls"

2Crafty Chipboard  Used :

To create this layout , I was inspired by this background. I really like the structure of the background paper, I mean, a group of flowers at the top, in the center, and  a fine border of flower at the bottom, I knew already that I would like to create in a vertical direction so that my work had continuity with the paper.

Love these Shrubs, so easy to add to anything, & adds a nice, soft touch to the title.

On this layout, all my chipboards have been treated in the same way. I choose not to add several colours on my chipboards because there is already a lot of colours on my layout. There was no need to add more colors, I think it would have been too busy.

I choose to use my white gelato  for this time. It's the first time I have used gelatos on my chipboards, and I confess, it was very pleasant to work with as the chipboard loves the gelatos
The gelatos are fat, so they slide well on the top of chipboard, the result is clear. After applying the white gelato I added a little water with a brush to slightly dilute the white and spread the colour.
I repeated this procedure several times.
I deliberately chose to apply my white gelato irregularly and not covered the entire piece of chipboard, as it gives a lovely effect when the water is added.

When I received my new DT kit, I found this beautiful circular panel. It's great, really great! I decided to cut up this panel and I selected some of rounds to stick them seperatly on my layout. However, I tried to work in a vertical direction, which was my design plan from the beginning.
I did not hesitate either to stick some circles over the embellishments, as if they had been
 thrown over.

Perfect title for my gorgeous girls.

Some close ups of the Circular Panel, which I have cut up and scattered around the flowers.

I hope you have enjoyed my work that I have shared today and look forward to seeing you
next month with more 2Crafty inspiration.

See you all soon!
