"LOVE DAD" Decorative Panel By Marie Sabatier

Hello, faithful friend of 2Crafty.

I find you to present you a pretty heart decorated on the occasion 

of the feast of the dad. 

I wanted to please my eldest son who is in this photo with these two children.

"LOVE DAD"

The Chipboards used:

- 10" Decorative Panel Solid Heart

- Viney Love

- Leafy Shrub Set 1 

- 2020

I started by covering the "Decorative Panel Solid Heart" chipboard with paper 

I then applied a layer of clear gesso. 

I used these wonderful letters "Viney Love" I like them very much.

I applied a coat of white gesso then white acrylic paint. 

I wanted to bring out the letters.

That I placed in the center vertically to highlight them.

I then placed the chipboard "Leafy Shrub" which served 

as a support to place my embellishments.

Chipboards really matter for layouts. 

They are beautiful and useful!

I ended up adding the year 2020 for the little extra detail.

“Vintage Heart”By Elena Martynova

Hello and welcome to the 2Crafty blog today.

For this project, I took a very old photo of my grandmother and my dad.

 This photo was taken in 1954. It was cropped unevenly and slightly dented.

 I think someone has been carrying it in their wallet for a very long time. 

It was probably my grandfather :)))

I really liked the shape of the Solid Folk Heart panel. 

It was convenient to work with and put the composition together.

I pasted it with paper to start and 

added some texture paste with cracks through the stencil.

  

I covered the background chipboard Bubble Grid Panel with Lindy's

 That's Marble-ous embossing powder and glued parts to the base.

Behind the photo, I placed my favorite chip - Pretty Birdcage. 

It is covered with dark green powder.

Family is the main value that we have so I added this title to my work.

It is from the Arrow Word Set 2.
