Be True to You
by Robin Schelin

Hello 2Crafty fans! Welcome to the blog.
Today I'm sharing a sweet layout of sisterly love. I'm a big sister, so this photo spoke to me and got me thinking about my little sister and the good times we had together as children.
Hope you like it!

"Be True to You"

2Crafty I used:
Aged Film Strips
Be True to You
Squiggly Circle Journaling Spots

Before altering, Gesso those fabulous chippies!

Peeking out from under the photo up top is the wonderful Aged Film Strip. I cut it in half and used half under the top, and the other half under the bottom of the photo. I painted it with Tin Pewter Acrylic Paint. I has a sheen to it that looks really pretty IRL, can't tell so much I these pictures.

Here is the other half of the Aged Film Strip on the bottom.
.

The title, Be True to You, was painted with white Acrylic Paint. Because the title is big, I wanted it to be subtle and not "in you face" with anything bright. I placed it in the middle of the page to connect the
corners where the designs are.

This is one of the absolutely charming Squiggly Circle Arrow Journaling Spots. These little pieces are one of my favs from 2Crafty. I painted it with Tin Pewter Acrylic Paint. I placed a little clock in the center, which I lucked out with, and it fit perfectly. I think that the arrow pointing to the title adds interest and a little whimsy to the composition.

Hope you have been inspired by this. I will see you back in a couple weeks with more from 2crafty!
