May Inspiration and a Picture Tutorial with Debbie

Hi everyone,
Debbie here with you today with my May projects.
On my side of the world it is Spring.  We've had some unusually cold weather lately and
lots of rain.  This week is set though to be a beautiful one with sun and lots of warmer days.

My Happy Place

I love when Spring arrives, as it is that time of the year to start working outside in my flower gardens.  I always get annual plants from my son for Mothers Day.  I find gardening very peaceful and love the end results.  The picture is from my front flower garden a few years ago. Love the geraniums and my ceramic bunnies!  Lots of flowers and 2Crafty Chipboard!!!

I've prepared a step by step picture tutorial for you to view.

Step 1

Emboss 6" Circle Revolution chipboard with antique taupe embossing powder.
Matt photo and adhere chipboard circle and photo to the layout.

Step 2

Emboss Ivy Clusters and Leafy Rounds with a mixture of verdant and sage
embossing powders.  Adhere to page along with some lace.

Step 3

Place flowers to the left of the photo.

Step 4

Place flowers to the right of the photo.

Step 5

Emboss title "My happy place" with antique taupe embossing powder and glue down.

Step 6

Add art stones to mimic the stones in the picture.

ith some paint splatters.  Lots of flowers and lovely 2Crafty Chipboard!

Festive Vine

I embossed the Festive Vine with some brown and turquoise embossing powders.
I cut it into pieces and used the pieces on various places on my layout.

At the top you see a piece of the Festive Vine.  I also placed one of the Clock Face Frames embossed with brown and antique taupe embossing powders.  The Sharon's Butterfly was
embossed with a mixture of  auburn and brown embossing powders.

At the base of my photo is another piece from the Festive Vine.  Beneath the flower
to the left I placed Lattice Leaves embossed with verdant embossing powder.

My title was embossed with a mixture of antique taupe and brown embossing powders.
To finish off my layout I added brown and copper microbeads.

I  hope I have inspired you today.
Thanks for stopping !
