Hi everyone!
Debbie here with you today with my March layouts. This post is lengthy as I have
three layouts to share along with a photo tutorial..
My first layout I made for a special friend of mine which features lots of 2Crafty Chipboard!
I based it off the current challenge over at More Than Words March Challenge.
2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Foliage Cluster
Frame Celia's
Mini Word Set 2
Leafy Shrub Set 2
I love the mixture of embossing powders I used on the Foliage Cluster and Frame Celia's,
a mixture of black and bright blue.
Tucked beneath the flowers I used a piece from the Leafy Shrub Set 2,
embossed with a couple shades of green.
I kept the title simple, applying some pink ink. It is part of the Mini Word Set 2.
My second layout features a sweet vintage picture of a little girl I found on Pinterest. I'm guest designing at 'Picture This Challenges' this month and created the layout for their March challenge.
2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Climbing Rose Bush
Mini Word Set 2
Lacey Border
I embossed the Climbing Rose Bush chipboard with a mushroom powder and cut it into
a few pieces and placed it on both side of the picture.
I used a piece from the Lacey Border Set which I cut into four pieces and embossed with a
mixture of Mushroom and Pink embossing powders and placed the pieces around the picture.
Here you can see more of the Climbing Rose Bush chipboard.
My third layout includes a picture tutorial.
I ran into some technical difficulties at video taping.
I found this photo on Pinterest and was felt like I was taken to a magical place.
2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Corner Alison's
Glenda's Swirl
Dandelions
Fine Word Set 2
A few closeups:
Magical from the Fine Word Set 2 & Corner Alison's.
Dandelions and Corner Alison's.
I have not quite yet mastered the art of video tutorials, so I have a
step by step photo process for you:....
Step 1: Spray background paper with blue and brown mists.
Add paint splatters and some random stamping.
Step 2: Emboss chipboard pieces.
Step 3: Adhere decorative transparency and some of the
chipboard pieces.
Step 4: Add picture, flowers and feather.
Step 5: Add additional chipboard pieces and more flowers.
Step 6: Add additional feather, butterflies and chipboard title
along with some microbeads and glass glitter.
I hope I have inspired you today.
Thanks for stopping by!
