My first masculine-themed layout is of my boyfriend Yves along with his father and brother...
an outstanding trio of men who each mean a lot to me!

I picked a very fitting title for my page, "Let's Hear It for the Boys",
which I simply painted black and dabbed with a little white.
To go along with the travel papers from Carta Bella, I added some
"Mini Fast Forward Arrows", matching them with the mahogany colored papers
by covering them with Distress Ink and dabs of black paint.
I also used a few pieces of the "Dotty Bits" set.
From the corrugated kraft paper to the book print tag and aviator stickers,
I think I managed to create a very masculine layout, fit for Yves and his kinsmen!

Pictures are of my friend's son Tristan on a day outing at the zoo
so what better title than "Who's Who In My Zoo"!
I picked a few of my favorite animals from both the "Jungle 1" set (monkey & giraffe)
and the "Jungle 2" set (snake & elephant) and colored them using Copic markers.
I did the same with the leafy stem from "Foliage Set 1".

Here, you can see the cute giraffe plus a piece from the "Mini Fast Forward Arrows".
This fun twirly arrow from the "Doodled Arrows" set seemed perfect to try
and mimmick the snake movement. I added a few more pieces from this set throughout my page.
An elephant peaks through from behind one of the pictures
as does a piece of the "Turkish Lattice Panel" from the patterned paper.
I found that this panel looked like wire fencing of the cages.

My final layout for this month is one that I have created
for 2Crafty's Guest Team post for Scrap Around the World in March.
It was inspired by this futuristic mood board designed by Terhi Koskinen from Finland.
I was inspired by many elements of the mood board,
most notably the colours, the legoman/robot, the chevrons and hemp twine.
Below you can see the "Cool Dude" title which I dried embossed
using my Cuttlebug and then colored using tones to match the mood board.
I have also used many of the "Giant Gears"...
and the "Cog Border" mixed up with a few "Chevron Bits".
I have had these cute "Robots" from 2Crafty for a while now (they were part of one of my first DT packs received!) and I was so happy to finally be able to use them. They are totally adorable!
I love the way this layout turned out,
thanks to all the 2Crafty chipboard!
