September Shares by Nicole Doiron

It's my turn once again to share with you some creations featuring some
 beautiful 2Crafty chippies!

My first share seen above is a brand new layout just finished a few hours ago, also
inspired by the monthly challenge over at Once Upon A ...Sketch which was to use
the word "lucky" as a journaling prompt.  I used the 2 Crafty  Alphabet Dainty to spell "lucky"
and the You, Loopy Font title.

Wanting to add leaves to my flower clusters, I chose the Skeleton Leaves.

Here is a little close up on the tag that includes my journaling and
that I tucked under a rolled corner.

To add dimension to my background, I used the 1" Hexagons that I covered with
a generous coat of molding paste and misted with different shades of
glimmer mist (Mallard, Suede, Vintage Pink).  I then dabbed a bit of
Smooch paint.  I then used my heatgun to quick dry each piece which
resulted in the marble texture.  I used the same technique
(this time only using the Mallard shade of Glimmer Mist) on the Adornment Set 2.

... and the Corner Elegant Set.

 One last close-up

My 2nd layout was recently created for my GDT reveal
for The Color Room using palette 158.

Starting with a deep chocolate brown background, I added yellow, green and brown
acrylic paint with a foam dabber using different masks.  The white on the background
and on a few of the chipboard pieces was added using Melt Art Ultra Thick
Embossing Enamel, my new favorite mixed media product.

The 2Crafty chipboard pieces used are:
Sakura Flowers.

 Adornment Set 1

My 3rd 2Crafty creation was inspired by CSI Case File #86.
I had so much fun guest designing for that wonderful challenge blog.

You see here the Loopy Font "today" title from 2Crafty along with the middle of a
Circle Flower whose petals I cut and used throughout the page almost as confetti.
The paler circle behind the title is also from 2Crafty - it's the leftover inside part of
another piece which I embossed.

Below is a shot of the Madeline's Flourish Frame. All pieces of chipboard were
coated with white acrylic paint then sprayed with glimmer mist and dabbed with
 gesso and gold liquid pearls.

Some Flourish Adornment Set 5, a Gear and part

Another lovely flourish swirl, Flourish Adornment Set 4.

Now you might be wondering how I created this background design.
I used a plastic doily as a mask, coating it with some molding paste, then
misting the doily paste pattern with different mists.

And here's one last look!

I hope you enjoyed my creations!  See you on October 4th! :)
