"The Many Faces of You"
Hello everyone, thanks so much for calling by the blog today.
I have three layouts to share with you, starting off with this one,
called, "The Many Faces of You". For my title I have used this great
chippie title from 2 Crafty. They have hundreds to choose from & I thought
this was just perfect for my multi photo layout.
All of the blue chippie pieces on this layout, including the "title", the "stars" & the "2012"
were firstly given a coat of Gesso & then
simply wiped over roughly with an Indigo Versa ink. In this pic you can also see
I have used some 2 Crafty "Chevron Bits" from one of their multi packs.
With these I just covered them with some spotty Washi Tape to match my paper..
In this pic you can see this sweet little "Grandma's Bike". For this piece I just
coated it with Gesso. Too easy. I have also used a chippie "2012". These are great & come
on a big sheet. I love the fact that the date becomes an embellishment.
Lastly I have added a few "Stars" which again come in a multi pack of all
different sizes. These are great for kids layouts. Definitely one of my
"go to products".

"It's The Simple Things"
I have used another 2 Crafty title "It's the Simple Things".
It speaks volumes about this photo I think.
All of the chippies on this layout were firstly given a coat of Gesso.
This primes the chip & makes it so easy to do all sorts of great things with.
In this pic you can see the beautiful "Corner Evie" which has been given an inking with
some Distress Ink followed by a coat of Distress Crackle in "Rock Candy" which is clear,
so that the colour of the ink shows through. It gives the chippies a nice aged look.
I have used some "Gears" from yet another multi pack from 2 Crafty.
These a great to fill that little gap on both boy & girl layouts.
Again I simply gave them a wipe of Distress Ink followed by
"Rock Candy" Distress Crackle.
I have tucked a piece of 2 Crafty "Chicken Wire" in behind my photo to add to the layers.
I simply just left it plain with the Gesso & wiped a little "Stickles" over it to add a little sparkle.

"Dream"
You may have seen this layout a couple of weeks ago. I did it for the 2 Crafty blog hop.
Lots of background treatments, stamping, distressing etc etc
This beautiful flourish I have coming out from underneath my flower cluster
is actually a corner piece, called "Helena's Corner".
I cut it in two so that it worked on this layout.
This title "Dream" is one of their NEW release pieces. I do soooo love this font.
I have also used another of the NEW release pieces, the "Flower Spurt Chain".
I have placed a piece down the bottom left corner & another
piece on the right side of my flower cluster.
I popped in a few little chippie flowers in here & there. These are called "Groovy Flowers"
& again come in a little multi pack. All of the chippies on this layout were given
a coat of gesso, then ink & then finished off with a dab here & there of "Stickles"
for a touch of sparkle. Haven't used Stickles for years but I have been re visiting it lately.
Thanks for stopping by.
