Hello and welcome to my February post.
Lets get straight into my first layout shall we?
I've used a heap of the words from the 6x6 cricket pack of chipboard and simply painted them white and inked the edges with some pinecone versa ink. Then under some of the words I've painted some of the circles from the 6x6" double sheet of circles in different colours and layered them under the various words.
I finished it off with this 6" border called Tanya's border, painted blue.
Now in case you missed it 2Crafty is sponsoring the CSI challenges this month.
So the 2Crafty DT have been guest designers for the february challenges over at CSI.
This is my take on case file #57
I've used several 2Crafty Chipboard pieces on this layout including the Folk Hearts, which I painted pink and then applied crackle accents. I've also used The Corner leafy Twigs, I cut up the leafy twigs and placed the birds as though they were kissing.
The Captured Moments title I painted with acrylic paint and swiped some white paint over
it once dry.
My last layout to share was created for the Scrap For Help blog.
Because the background was so textural I wanted to recreate this feel on the chipboard
pieces I used.
I did this by dabbing on texture paste with my finger and once dry I inked the edges and then stamped on the chipboard with texture stamps using black ink.
Some more close-ups of the Tabs and piece of the scallop star border. As well as embellishing my layout the round tab also has a
Practical use, as it's attached to the journalling spot its used as a tab/handle to pull out the journalling from behind the photo.
So that's it for me this month, hope you've enjoyed my shares today and don't forget to like us on facebook so you're kept up to date with all our 2Crafty news. :)
And You can see more of my scrapbooking on my personal blog here
