'Bessie' - by Emma Zappone

Hello 2Crafty friends!
Today I would like you to meet 'Bessie', a stunning 1920's French Cabaret performer.
Life hasn't been easy for Bessie, the stage has come at a cost.
But with all she may have lost, her passion and love of performing out ways the sadness she has felt.
Please put your hands together for 'Bessie'.....

Let's also focus on a few other star performers featured on this page....

ATC - Mini Scissors
Rose Set 1
Lattice Leaf Set
Messy Squares

For this page I wanted to go dark, a little smoky and create a vibe that reflected the image.
So I painted all the chipboard with black Gesso.

The Messy Square also had a light paint of Prussian Blue to set it off from the black. The lighting in the photo doesn't quite pick it up. Once dry I added a clear emboss powder to add a little more drama to the chippy. And the little pair of scissors were painted black with a blue wax to finish them off.

The lattice leaves are also in black with a Clear emboss.
I just love how these black elements set apart the layers.

The stunning Rose chippy was treated the same way as the Square, with that slight hint of blue shining through the embossing.

Bessie and I would like to thank you for stopping by and for all your continued support.
We hope we have inspired you a little.

Stay crafty, Em xx

With you, anything is possible
by Sabrina Turpin

 Hello 2Crafty friends!

I hope you are all doing well.
This week is my hubby's birthday, he'll be on his last big year before the big 40!
It's been a while since I had made a layout featuring him so I though it would be a
fitting celebration to make one for his birthday!

"With you, anything is possible"

For the '11" Round Flourish Frame", I used aged-silver embossing enamel.
On the "Rose Set" behind the picture, I used two coats of black-silver shimmering paint.

On the "Mini title Stick Set 1", I simply rubbed some black ink. For the title, "With you, anything is possible", I applied one coat of white embossing powder and dabbed some silver embossing ink on top.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout:

11" Round Flourish Frame [120063]
Rose Set [m00780]
Mini Title Stick Set 1 [mb022]
With you anything is possible [w00619]

That's all for me today!
I hope you enjoyed my creation and that it gave you some ideas for your own!
I'll be back in two weeks with another layout to share with you.
Until then, take care and happy crafting!

"Sweet Album" by Elena Martynova

Hello my dear friends!
Today I want to show an album, which is intended for a little girl.
I did it with great love and inspiration. The main decoration of the
 cover and pages
 were wonderful chipboards by 2Crafty.

I added title "Our daughter Milana" in a wonderful frame Oval Ornate.

I invite you to see how I decorated the pages of the album.
You will find a list of used chipboard at the end of the post.

I decorated the silhouette of a pregnant woman with

Page dedicated to the birth of the baby I decorated with

 Here I used
I took only a frame, and butterflies will live
on the last pages of the album.

I covered Circle Flowers  with yellow embossing powder
and turned it into sunshine.

On this page I used Frame Ingrid's.

I decorated the picture frame with Doodled Frames.

Photos of the baby and her parents will frame these circles from Doily Frames.

This pages I decorated with Frankie's Frames and

On the last pages I placed a Rose Set.

At the very end of the album there is a secret page
dedicated to the meeting of Christmas.
It is decorated with a frame from the set Frankie's Frames.

Thank you for your visit!

Have a nice day!

Grateful by Tammy Klingner
includes a process VIDEO!!

G'day there 2Crafties!!

Tam here today to share not only a creation but a process video too!!!

This layout is titled:

'Grateful'

A layout that celebrates and documents our beautiful neighbours.

So grateful for them and to them, and love having them in our lives.

Let's take a look at the video  as that best shows you how this came together....

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:
"Heart Clusters"
"Grateful title"
"Rose Set"
"6 inch Circle dot frames"
"Mini Branches"

As you can see in the video, I began by coating all of the chipboard in white Gesso.

To the "Heart Clumps" I added white paint.

I then added some doodling with a white pen.

I followed the same process for the "6 inch Circle dot frame".

The 'Grateful title' was painted with some soft watercolours.
I really love this look on chipboard.
It gives it a softer look, rather than bold.
Also, as it's soft it can be added over the photos slightly, without detracting from them.

To the "Rose Set", I also added watercolours.
Such a great finish.  Love the variance in the depth of colour.
I just LOVE the "Rose Set" chippy and could use it over and over (in fact I do!).

Finally, to the "Mini Branches", I stamped with a script stamp over the top.

This is a really simple, yet effective way to personalise your chippy.

Love it!

So that's it from me today.
I've been really enjoying playing with more softer colours lately.
So often, I am drawn to bright colours, so it's really nice to mix things up a little!!

I'll see you again next month with more chipboard creations!
In the meantime you can find me on my BLOG.
Love Tam

"Memory of You"
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends!

As I was doing some spring cleaning in my photo collection, I stumbled upon one of the very few pictures of my daughter Mila when she was a baby (being the second baby, she didn't have half as many pictures taken as her big brother did!).
My heart melted and I knew I had to do a nice layout for this picture. So I assembled a nice bouquet of colors and chipboards and let my inspiration go wild. I really like the result.

"Memory of You"

Starting with the "Carrie's Border", I used black ink with a rosegold wax on top.

On the "Sharon's Butterflies", I've applied cherry-pink ink and then
applied some copper metallic embossing ink on top.

On the nice "Rose Set", I've applied some gold embossing powder.

With the title, "Memory of you", I applied 2 coats of black embossing powder
and then dabbed some metallic embossing ink on top.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used
Sharon's Butterflies [M00496]
Carrie's Border [db104]
Rose Set [M00780]
 Memory of you [w00544]

I'm really happy about the result. I hope it gave you some ideas for your own creations!
I'll be back in a few weeks with a new layout to reveal.
 Until then, have fun creating!
