Cherished Moments Step x Step Layout by Tania Ridgwell

Tania stopping in today to share the second of my DT projects for this month with a layout. 

 I have a short step x step photo tutorial for this layout.   I love how this layout turned out and love the black Floral Heart Frame with the orange. 

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

 *11" Floral Heart Frame

 *Cherished Moments

*Mina Frame

*Foliage Set 6

To create the background page I added texture using a stencil with texture paste and colour using assorted sprays.

I coloured the Floral Heart Frame with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder.  I used thick embossing powder as I wanted  parts of the chipboard to still appear raw as the powder is thicker it fell off in places to show the raw chipboard.

I fussy cut floral elements and added them around the frame.

I coloured the Mina Frame, Cherished Moments and Foliage Set 6 Chipboard with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Spray.  I created a handmade embellishment using Mina Frame, torn paper and fussy cut flowers and added the Cherished Moments Title.  I then added this to the bottom left of the photo of the layout.  I finished off the layout by tucking the foliage 6 leaves into the fussy cut elements.

Hi everyone! 

Elena here with a new layout for the amazing 2Crafty Chipboards!

For this page I took a photo from the distant past.

I don't know exactly the year it was taken, but it's about 1950.

In the photo, my grandmother with her friend.

Grandma loved to be photographed and left me a bunch of pictures as a legacy !

"Just Love Our Story"

I chose a paper by Bleu Fern Studio, which lay for a long time and waited for
its finest hour. 

This collection is just perfect for decorating retro photos.

Behind the photo I added a round chip Mina Frame with curls.

I painted this with shabby-velour paints by Fabrica Decoru. 

They gave a slightly rough surface.

Title Just Love our Story was painted  and embossed with clear powder.

In different places of the layout I added ornate corners from Corner Mini Set 1 

These lovely roses from the texture paste is also 

done with the help of stencil by Fabrica Decoru.

Prima Marketing flowers, vintage light bulbs and silver glitter complemented my work.

Pirate notebook by Elena

Hello my dear friends!!!

Today I want to show you my new notebook for a cheeky boy

 who loves stories about travel and pirates.

This young boy will write the best memories of his summer.

I used a Mina Frame for the cover whose curls resemble the waves of the sea.

Delightful Anchor engraved also came in handy!

The spine of the notebook is decorated with ribbons and cords with beads and pendants.

There are more than just pages for notes in notepad but also many pages for photos.

 I decorated one of them with  Gears Small

 and an arrow with the inscription from the  Arrow Word Set 1

The chipboard inscription on the next page calls for the most incredible adventures!

Again gears and arrow with the inscription.

And on the right a page with a large envelope,
 I added the same anchor as on the cover, only it's bigger.

December Inspiration by Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty friends, I hope everyone is enjoying all the holiday preparations.

Today's post will be my last for 2 Crafty Chipboard and I want to say that I have

had such fun working with these wonderful chipboards!
It has been a wonderful team to be on and I will miss you all :)

For my December post I wanted to create something wintery
 and sparkly with a touch of whimsy.

'Merry Christmas'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Holly Vine Wreath'

I couldn't resist adding a piece of the 'Deer Set' that fit my photo perfectly.

With all the pieces I used for this page I painted them white and then while still wet I 

sprinkled on some white glitter to make them sparkly.

My second project is a pair of Christmas tags. I love using these as a really special touch
to a wrapped Christmas present. Everyone loves something really unique and handmade.

There are so many beautiful Christmas themed chipboard pieces, it's so hard to choose!
For the 'Mina Frame' and the 'Holly Vines' I painted them white and then embossed them
with glittery pink embossing powder, to continue on with a delicate shabby icy theme.

My last project to share is a page I created for a challenge blog called 'Mistress Owl'.
