2 Crafty Chipboard Inspiration...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

Delight in Every moment

12" Morrocan strip

Delicate Butterfly

Let's start with the 12" Morrocan strip where

 I have inked randomly this strip with a light blue ink

 & have peeking throughout of all the fussy cutting....

Next up is my title the 'Delight in Every Moment'

which has been simply given two coats of gesso.

Then we have the gorgeous Delicate Butterfly

where I have again randomly inked this time with a lovely light teal color..

Lastly & of course, a layout of mine wouldn't be complete without 

adding the date, for the 2015 I have simply inked with it with pretty pink..

Hi there lovely 2Crafty fans,

Welcome to the blog, today I will show you a layout with some of my favorite 2Crafty chipboard pieces. Maybe some of you know I am also one of the Maja Design girls and when I got my DT package with the newest collection, I right away knew which pieces I wanted to use. I am a big fan of borders and anything swirly.

Aztec Feather

Corner Helena's 

Fine & Fancy Border

Firstly I coated the corner pieces, phrase and aztec feather with a thin layer of white gesso, then I used some gold embossing powder on the corners and white embossing powder on the phrase & feather after that I added some waxes in different shades to create more depth. 

The beautiful chipboard border is treated with some gold shimmer spray and some waxes. On the background paper I used a new stencil and I finished my layout of by adding some "say it in crystals" & some white spray.

Delight In Every Moments by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

Today I was inspired by the lovely spring weather here in Quebec, to create a fresh 

spring-themed layout featuring my husband and I. It's still a bit cold outside, and we

 have had a lot of rain so far this season, so we're taking every chance we have to enjoy the sun!

"Delight in Every Moment"

 

For the "Frame Celia's Flourish", I used some white and green embossing enamel.

On the "Leafy branch border", I applied rose-gold wax. For the "Foliage Set 8", 

I used two coats of green metallic paint, then inked the borders in black.

On the title, "Delight in Every Moment", I first applied some rose-gold paint.

 Then, I applied some black embossing ink so the paint layer would

 show through just a tiny little bit.

For this layout, I used the following 2Crafty chipboards:

Leafy Branch Border [DB0130]

Foliage Set 8 [M00867]

Delight in Every Moment [W00578]

Hi there creative folk!

Tam here today to share my latest chipboard creation....

'Delight in Every Moment'

Love the way those rainbow butterflies pop against the black!!

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

'Anthea's Butterflies'

'Fine and Fancy Butterfly Set'

'Polaroid Assortment Frames'

*NEW* 'Delight in Every Moment Title' 

To create that rainbow effect on both 'Anthea's butterflies' and 'Fine and Fancy Butterfly Set', I firstly coated them with white gesso.

Once dry, I added watercolours to colour them, and I worked in a striped fashion.

The colours bled together a tiny bit, but this just adds to the gorgeous effect.

I did need to do a couple of coats to get the boldness in the colours.

If you know my work, you know I LOVE COLOUR!!

I coated the 'Polaroid Assorted Frame' in acrylic paint and then swiped some wipe paint around the edges.

Simple yet effective.

As I had so much colour going on, I decided to keep my 'Delight in Every Moment title' simple and white.

It pops off the page.

I love the fineness in the title font - it's a NEW one!
