Altered Christmas Cheer Frame by Tania Ridgwell

Tania joining you today to share the Second of my DT projects for August. 
 I have altered a wooden frame.

2 Crafty Chipboard

*Christmas Cheer

*Majestic Reindeer Set

*Royal Oval Frame

*Celebration Swirls

I have used the gorgeous new Mintay "Merry & Joy" Collection to decorate the inside photo frame panels.

I first coloured all the chippie pieces with a couple of coats of gesso.  Once dry I randomly sprayed Kaisercraft Red Iridescent Spray on the Royal Oval Frame, Celebration Swirl and Christmas Cheer Title chippies.  I then sponged more gesso over the Celebration Swirl Christmas Cheer Title chippies to lighten them up.  I left the Majestic Reindeer chippies just painted with gesso. 

I added the Royal Oval Frame chippie to the centre of the frame and then added the Christmas Cheer Title.  I decorated the Frame with some Christmas Poinsettia flowers and fussy cut elements.  To finish off I tucked in a Celebration Swirl chippie to the flower cluster along the bottom of the Frame and the Majestic Reindeer chippies to the bottom right of the Frame.

This is my second page of this month and the last for this year.

What a pleasure to be able to share all these pages with 2CraftyChipboard fans!

 I chose to finish the year with a page in celebration and shine.

The Chipboard used :

- Christmas Cheer

- Festive frame

- Dasher With Sliegh

- Deer Set

- Wine Stars

I applied a layer of white gesso on each chipboard.

For the chipboard "Festive Frame" 

I applied a metallic acrylic paint "Stempunk copper" 

and then a gold-colored wax.

 For all other chipboards I applied a Perfect Pearls 

"Sunflower Sparkle" powder.

This gives a soft and silky effect.

For the title and a star I applied a powder embossed "Purely white"

I added a lot of glitter for a party effect.

Hello Everyone!

We are well into December and with only two days to go before
 Christmas day, can you believe it.......

 I am really excited and am feeling the festive spirit....  How about you??? 

I have another Christmas themed layout to share, this layout is of my girl!

'Christmas Cheer'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:  

'Christmas Cheer' title

'Love' from Fine word set 1

Engraved baubles

Fine leaf bush

Sweet holly corner

I started by giving the chipboard pieces a coat of gesso...

I then finished the 'Christmas Cheer' title & the Fine word 'Love'
 with heat embossing in Liquid platinum....

Continuing on with the heat embossing to the gorgeous 'Sweet Holly corner' 

 with a glazier white embosssing powder, then cutting this corner in half and 

placing a piece either side of my flower cluster...... 

Next : Inking the Fine leaf bush with 2 tones of green & cutting up into 

smaller pieces & placing them in & around my flower clusters....

Lastly the gorgeous Engraved bauble. I started with giving it a coat of gesso,
 then heat embossing the ball again using with Liquid platinum powder &
finishing the bauble with sanding the mini balls strip & bow.....
