'Journey'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to share some
 scrappy travel inspiration with you.

"Journey"

2Crafty products used:

Fine Word Set 3, Photo Adornment Set 6,
Chicken Barbed Wire Small, 6" Doily Clock Face

I have created this layout featuring a photo of my daughter in Japan.
I used the '6" Doily Clock Face',
which I have left raw, tucked under the edge of some of my layers.
I really love the raw chipboard with the neutral tones of my papers.

I also used one of the 'Photo Adornment Set 6',
such a pretty little flourish,
that I have also left raw.

I also used one of the 'Chicken Barbed Wire Small' panels,
that I have cut into pieces,
and used in among my layers and embellishments

I also used one of the 'Fine Word Set 3',
that I have finished in white and layered under my photo.

I hope that you like what I have created.
Until next time,

Lisa

'Your Heart, My Heart' - by Emma Zappone

 Hello 2Crafty friends.
Em with you today, and I'm finishing the month off with a little 'foxy' layout.

Using beautiful soft earthly, autumn tones this page features some stunning chipboard elements.

Lets check out which pieces I chose here......

Mini Branches
Chicken Wire Barbed small
Stitched Lace Border

I decided to keep a couple of the chipbord pieces simple by painting them with an acrylic paint.

The chicken wire, was painted in an orange acrylic with a sepia wax brushed over the top.

The stunning Lace Border was started with a cream acrylic and then finished with a light coating of Firebird wax.

I also cut the border into smaller parts to use in two locations.

And those wonderful very versatile branches were initially painted with acrylic, but I wanted a shiny finish so chose to add metallic foiling flakes for a real shine.

I really love how the foil flakes add a little more drama and autumn shimmer.

I hope this page inspires you a little. Thanks so much for joining me today.

See you again next week.
Em xx

"Workmates'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty fans!
Happy New Year!

It's Lisa here today with some crafty goodness to share with you.
I have been busy creating in my Grandfather's album,
this is what I have created.

This spread is dedicated to Booth's, it was the place that my Grandfather worked back in the UK.
These photos are some that I was able to find of his work, and one of him with his workmates.

For this page, I have used some of the 'Chicken Barbed Wire Small',
that I have cut up into pieces. I have also used one of the 'Light Bulbs'.
I have left my chipboard raw as it goes with the work vibes.

The handsome gentleman on the far left is my Grandfather :)

For this page, I have again used more of the
'Chicken Barbed Wire Small', cut into pieces.

I have also used one of the 'Giant Gears',
that I have layered with a metal sentiment.

I only have a couple more pages to go and then I have the cover to do.
But it's all I have for you for now.
I will be back soon with more!

Until then

Lisa

Adore
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello lovelies,

It’s time for me to share with you my last project as part of 2Crafty DT. I had the best three years with this fabulous team. It was a pleasure and an honor to create with the best chipboards ever! I am thankful for Vanessa and Di for having me on the team and I am thankful for 2Crafty community. You are all wonderful!

Frames and Circle Tag are among my favorite 2Crafty products because they are so versatile and goes with any project. I used them on most of my layouts….I had to use them on my last dt project too!

Adore

Adore was painted with Saphir blue acrylic paint. Finnabair Unicorn paste was added on top of it for a sparkling effect.

Treasure from Circle Tag Set 1 was dry brushed with white gesso and shadowed with Saphir acrylic paint.

6’’ Circle Dot Frame was first unevenly covered with white gesso. Then shadowed with Raspberry acrylic paint. Finally, a few spots of Unicorn paste were added sparsely.

The same embellishing techniques were used for Chicken Barbed Wire Small panel.

Sweet cheeks
By Marie Claude Rodier

Hello everyone,

I used a lot of fussy cutting elements and elegant chipboards to create this apple picking layout.
I used light and vibrant colors to brighten it up.
I love how the golden title makes it even more cheerful.

Sweet cheeks

Sweet cheeks was dabbered with vintage gold acrylic paint. I love it’s funky texture,
it almost looks like crackles.

Chicken Barbed Wired Small panel was cut into pieces and placed on either side of the clustering.
A few highlights of white gesso and white gold wax were added sparsely.

Flourish Adornment 4 were embossed with Golden Burgundy powder and dry brushed
with gesso to tone them down.
