Hello Creative 2Crafty friends,
I hope you have all enjoyed your Christmas time with all your loved ones and I would like to wish you all a wonderful and amazing 2025! Although it was a hard choice for me I finally picked my four. One of the four layouts is very precious to me it's the second one with the amazing little boy "Phoenix McKay Phippen"! I hope 2025 will be a beautiful, healthy, loving and creative year for me and you all.

"It's Time to Bloom" with Amy Voorthuis

 Hi lovely creative peeps, 
I hope this post will find you well and that you are enjoying your day! Well I always enjoy my day while creating for 2Crafty Chipboard since I think it's unimaginable not to use their chippies on my work. For today I have layout to share with you all and this time it's a picture of Abbey and me after my by-pass surgery with a lot less kilo's to drag with me. I can't believe it's been eight months already I feel so much better now.

Most of the chipboard pieces are altered with two layers of white gesso and later on with some matte acrylic paints. After that I used a sponge on the leaves with some matte white wax. 

I cut the pharse "It's time to bloom" in two pieces and used it separate on my layout I altered it with some pink acrylic paint which I then used some brown wax on. The words are treated with two layers of white gesso {I always seem to do that hihi} and then added two layers of white embossing powders.

Well hello fellow crafters, 

I am very glad you are visiting the blog today, here you can find a lot of inspiration from my fellow DT members who are a huge inspiration to me as well. I just love creating with 2Crafty Chipboard pieces & I love creating with as much of them as possible. So for this layout I went all feminine with a couple of my favorite colors & eight different chippies, enjoy my post! Oh and I used a picture of my husband & daughter last summer in Greece....

I prepaired all my chipboard pieces with white gesso as I normally do but for all of the chippies I used a different technique let me explain. For the pretty window shutters I used some rustic paint {white sand} which has a sand like structure and applying it is very easy. After that I added some colors with a matte finish and some white wax. 

The clock face frame & amelia frame atre both firstly sprayed with spray paint and then I added some acrylic paint & three different color waxes. 

The words I embossed with different colors and the word "Happiness" I two toned it so it give it more demension. I also embossed the "squiggly circle arrow journal spots" with some pink embossing powder. 

And for the leafy shrub set I used some spray paint and two different acrylic paints and later on I added some wax. I also did a lot of fussy cutting forthis layout now I know why I love doing that it relaxes the mind haha..
