Happy Birthday - Cards by Badbarbie

Hi 2Crafty fans,

It's Badbarbie and sadly this is my last blog post on the team.
It's been a pleasure to be on the creative team of 2 Crafty.

It's so much  fun to play with chipboard!

I'm gonna leave you with two birthday's cards.
Because of course, you can use multiple chippies in a card!

For the cactus : I used neon green paint. After drying,

I used turquoise paint applied with my finger.

Dry again. The finish with green ink applied with a dabber.

For the deer :

Apply white gesso. Dry.

Apply black watercolor lighter to darker to create ombre.

Finish with stamping a grid

with black embosseing powder.

"Good Vibes" - by Badbarbie

Hi 2 Crafty fans !

One of my favorite things is cats.
We have 5 cats in the house and 2 cats in the garage.
I am the crazy cat lady, lol.

I was so happy to have found this microbrewery at Quebec
and buy this t-shirt. Cute little face :)

I had to take a picture and do some creation with my Tim Holtz stamps...

"Good Vibes"

For the tittle I went with embossing powders in neon pink and black.
I heat embossed half & then proceeded on the second half.
I was really pleased how it turned out.

For my Chevrons, I used white gesso, dry, & then used pink watercolor.

The Chicken Wire has just been inked in black and sits lovely in the background.

I hope you love cats too and you like my creation ;)
See you soon.

This is the CSI case #309

Proof that we can make really very different creations
of the image presented as inspiration!

Here are the elements that I chose :
-tone-to-tone
-hearts
- branches, flowers

This is my interpretation of this challenge....

I took some photos at different times to show you the details

Embrace Today - By Badbarbie

Hi 2 Crafty fans :)

Sometimes we start from an element  in order
 to fully build our creation.

This is what happened to me
with the big orange leaves and the mini logs that I found.

However, I did not want a creation in orange colors.
I wanted to go with red and turquoise.

"Embrace Today"

For my background, I created with watercolor paint (red, turquoise)
&  I colored my pink chipboards.

I create a clock with different elements
  (trompe l'oeil).

I simply embossed my title with powders.
