October Inspiration with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty Peeps!

It's Lisa here today to share some more inspiration with you.

Isn't the year flying past?!

Today I have a layout that I created featuring my son,

one of my permanent models ;)

Can I say I LOVE how this turned out, I hope you do too!

I am a huge fan of black backgrounds, and I love this one! It's not all black ;)

There are some splashes of my favourite colour!

The feature piece of this layout has to be the 'Fiddlesticks Panel',

 that I have finished the same colour as my splatters and papers :)

I have also used one of the Geo tags from the 'Assorted Mini Camera Set',

that I have embossed it white. 

I have also used a couple of the 'Triangle Clusters', also embossed in white.

I have then added some word stickers to them.

Oh that panel is one of my favourites!

Capture the Moment with Lisa Amiet

Hello 2Crafty Fans!

It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you. 

My latest creation is featuring a photo of my children and I.

It started as a pic of my daughter and I, and we were photo bombed,

 quite perfectly, by my son! 

It was the perfect capture. 

Anybody that know me, know I LOVE a black background.... 

and it makes my chipboard stand out and shine!

So, for this layout I have used a number of the 'View Finder' chipboard pieces, 

these come in different sizes so are awesome for layering.

I have finished my 'View Finders' in white gesso, which gives a great matte finish.

I have then used watercolours to partially colour them in colours to co-ordinate with my papers.

I have layered some in my paper layers.

I have also used one of the 'Assorted Mini Camera Set' and one of

 the 'Assorted Arrows'.  I have embossed these in white.

Finally I have used 'Capture the Moment' as my title,

which I have also embossed in white. I love how it pops off the black background.

March Inpiration By Noura Pompilla

Hello my creative friends!!

Noura here today to share my inspirations for March.

My first project is a Masculine  Layout inspired by one of my favorite actors Kim Bum 

from the Korean Dramas.

Layout "Journey"

I have taken the Polaroid Assortment Frames and Steampunk Gears Small 
and painted them with Ruste paste set by Finnabair, giving them a rustic feel.

Next I have decorated my page using the Circle revolution frames, Assorted arrows,

Asst Mini camera set and these were all painted in black gesso, they are 

perfect for masculine themes.

My title is from Mini travel word set 1, I left it in its natural color.

Light Bulb looks perfect for decorating my page

Canvas "Shine in the Forest"

My second project is a canvas totally inspired by nature, 4 years ago I traveled to the Amazon

 jungle with my husband and it was an unforgettable trip where I was for the first time close to animals that I had only seen on TV, giant anacondas, ants the size of my finger, huge trees

 the size of buildings and the most wonderful landscapes

To Frame my picture I chose 6" Clock Face Frames and my title "shine" is from Fine word set 1.

Palm leaves set and  Leafy Shrub set 2 were painted in snow paste then in green metal
paint with some touches of Lindys Cottail copper brown and Liquid glass.

 To To decorate some spaces I used Palm leaves set painted in black gesso then sprayed 

with Edelweiss Moss Green and Cattail Copper Brown  from Lindys.

 I have also added liquid glass in droplets to look like water droplets.

July Inspiration By Noura Pompilla

Hello my crafty friends

Noura here today to share with you my projects for July. This month my inspiration 

is all about different types of beauty.

 "Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful"

Some details...

For my background I have used  Tiny Triangle Clusters and Fast Forward arrows  all 

painted with black gesso.  I also sewed some horizontal and vertical lines for added interest.

To decorate my layout I used a lot of different chipboard, including ....
Mini Camera Set
 ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
 Assorted Arrows
 Fast Forward Arrows
   Small Steampunk Gears

These were  all painted with cream color.

My tittle "Be your own kind of Beautiful" was painted in black gesso , I added 

diamond dust for an extra texture and a little of old gold paint.

This layout is my entry for the following challenges

Canvas - "Beauty"

And here is my second project, a Canvas.

I started by painting with Inka gold on the  Chicken Wire panel
and placed it in between the layers.

 I've then added some Leafy Shurb Set 1 and Leafy Shurb Set 2 

which I heat embossed in a white color.

Finally the Fine word set 2 was painted in black acrilic paint with a
 touch of 3D gloss gel to give it a little shine.
