Hello and a warm welcome to the 2 Crafty blog today..
Rach with you sharing my newest layout
I have created using some really fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard....

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
ATC words
Field Mushrooms
Fancy border set 2
2019

All chipboard inked with Tim - Holtz - Distress Oxides
Let's start with the Fancy border, where I have inked this border
using TH- Ground Espresso (brown color) then cut this border into
smaller pieces and glued this throughout my background...

Next up are these SUPER CUTE Field Mushrooms
Randomly inking these beauties with the same brown
as the fancy border and this lovely blue TH- Faded Jeans

They look SO GOOD, don't they.....

Now for ATC word Imagine again using  TH - Ground Expresso,
then something a little different , I've glued the word to some white cardstock
& fussy cutting it out and adhering it with foam tape..

Lastly, with the 2019 to POP a little more so I inked this with
a brighter blue using TH - Salty Ocean...

That's it from me for now
Thanks for stopping by
I hope I have inspired you in some way

Some August Inspiration
By Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty friends I have a couple of projects to show you today.
My first project is a light and dreamy layout.

'Dream'

I was in the mood to create something with an ultra feminine and
shabby chic look with lots of pink :)

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Dream'
'Viney Page Frame'
'Thistle Shrub'
'Lavendar Shrub'

One of my absolute favourite 2 Crafty chipboards is the 'Viney Page Frame'.
I like to cut it up into long pieces. Here I stamped it lightly with brown ink after painting
with white Acrylic Paint.

As with the other chipboards I painted the title piece with white acrylic paint, and
then I brushed on some pink mist and then lastly I brushed the edges with brown ink.

My second project is an art journal spread.

'Inspire'

For this project I painted my chipboards white and then randomly
 brushed them with brown ink.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Moroccan Panel'
'Sybill's Name Plate'
'ATC Words'

See you soon,
Lisa xo

March Inspiration by Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty Chipboard friends!
It's time for me to share my projects this month. As you have seen
with some of the other team members, I also designed a layout for the blog
'Colors Stories and Inspiration' to represent the 2 Crafty Chipboard team.

'Summer Fun'

2 Crafty chipboard pieces used:

'Polaroid Frames'
'Sharon's Butterflies'
'Film Strip Medium'
'Words Circles Set 2'

I chose Case No. 193 with a beachy feel to it.
Here is the Case File and please click here to see more of how
2 Crafty Chipboard's designers solved the case.

As this design was really meant to show off 2 Crafty Chipboard, I kept the
treatment simple but dramatic with black acrylic paint to really make the
chipboard pieces pop off the page.

I love the 'Polaroid Frames'! I think they go great with the 'Film Strips'
and really added to my theme.

My second project for this month is a pair of vintage tags.

'Create Art'

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Ornate Dragonfly'
'ATC Words 1'
'Hand-Drawn Feathers'

For all of the chipboard pieces I used on my tags, I wanted a rough aged look. So first
I applied a thick, uneven coat of heavy white gesso and then dried it with my heat gun
so that the chipboard surface was bubbly, cracked and really textured. Next I painted them
with some Prima 'Art Alchemy' Acrylic Paint in 'Metallique Steampunk Copper' with
a dry brush, and I love how it turned out, they almost looks like a old painted plaster wall.

Same techniques here for the beautiful 'Ornate Dragonfly'.

I hope I have inspired you a little :) To go modern and fun?
Or to go delicately vintage and time-worn....
Hugs, Lisa Griffith

February Layouts From Debbi Tehrani (with a process video)

"Enjoy Today"

This photo of my husband's niece and her cousins was taken on Lombard Street during their trip to  San Francisco.  Of course I found some perfect 2Crafty chipboard pieces that would be perfect for the modern, urban look I was going for.

But before we start...
Please remember to become a blog follower & leave a blog comment to
be eligible to go in our monthly draw for a great chippie prize pack.

For those who don't know this landmark, Lombard Street is known as one of the crookedest streets in America. It's a block long and has 8 hairpin curves. I thought the curvy arrow in the "Crazy Arrows" set would be perfect for this page. I coated the arrow with black stamp ink. The "Square Collage Panel" reminded me of a city street map, so I used that as a focal point of my page. I left it raw and backed some of the squares with various patterned papers.

The border dividing the top and bottom halves of my page is from the "Mixed Border Strips." I inked it with several shades to try to match my polka dot paper and then stamped it with a green ink pad using a tiny polka dot Kaiser Craft stamp for added texture. The "Enjoy Today Mini Title" title was colored with black stamp ink. The title may not look so "mini" on my page because I scrap 8 x 8, so it was a perfect size! I love how the circle from the "6-inch Circle Revolution" set can be laid right onto the photo to frame the beautiful faces. I painted this piece with white gesso.

"Just Adorable"

Meet Minnie Cupcake, my crazy sweet kitten who I discovered has Mickey Mouse ears on her nose (hence the name Minnie). As you can see, she is just adorable, so the 2Crafty title piece was my beginning point for layout.

I coated the "Just Adorable" title with two different colors of glitter. I used one of the chunkier pieces from the "Chevron Bits" and cut it in three separate pieces, coating them with white holographic glitter.

The "Polaroid Assortment Frames" are one of my favorite 2Crafty elements, and I decided to add a whole bunch of them on my layout to highlight these three sweet pictures of my kitty. I glued different patterned papers on top of them and filled some of them with papers.

The lovely "Fanciful Butterflies" are such a sweet adornment, and I coated them with more glitter. The "Love" word came from the "ATC Words 1" set. I used letter stickers to complete the sentiment and used a little chipboard heart from "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars," covered with patterned paper, as the O in the word you.

I created a video detailing my process for creating this layout. It's my very first video for
2Crafty and my first time creating a video with my voice narrating it!

December Projects + VIDEO by Valerie Ouellet

"Artist Notebook"

Hi, everyone! I decided to create a cover for my artist notebook. I used
this book to relax while drawing with my watercolor pencil and doodling.
First, I made a mix media background with gelatos and some pencils.
I have a video to share with you.

After, I cut the paper and I glued it on my notebook cover with soft matte gel,
I used a paper punch to make the holes.

To add texture, I used "Bubbles Clumps" and "ATC Words" on the top.
I just used embossing powder on my chipboard.

 "Christmas Presents"

For my second project, I decided to create my Christmas gift wrap.
2Crafty Chipboard have some beautiful Christmas chippies! I love them.
I used the gorgeous "Deer Set" for my first gift.

I used it with gold embossing paste and glitter gold embossing powder.
Next I used distress ink to make a grungy look.

My deer looks great on my branch tree.

For the next one, I created my wrap with acrylic paint and stencil. Then, I placed
a poinsettia flower on the top. "Holly Flourish" was perfect with my flower.
I used my favorite embossing powder, glitter gold.

For the last project, I used "Holly Vine Wreath" that I embossed with gold
embossing powder . It gives a great look with my doily and my poinsettia flower.
I love it small because it works perfectly on gifts and Christmas cards.

Well thats all from me today.
