Today I'm sharing my nautical layout with a view of Milos Island from
our holiday balcony. Love the mix of chunky resin elements, paper pieces
and the awesome 2Crafty Window Shutter offset over the clock.

The Window Shutter adds an aged feel by Watercolouring with a soft grey
and a light brown leaving some Gesso to show through. Tucking the Shutter
behind as though its hanging on after years in the weather.
Representing this moment in my hubby's life is why I placed the Clock Face
frame behind the Window. After a light blue watercolour and some dry brushing
of Gesso when dry I glued it to a piece of printed paper and cut it out.
Using two shades of light blue I watercolored both the title and the Squiggly Circle
Arrow adding yellow to the Arrow head. Then I dry brushed Gesso on to the title
and glued it on top. Matches the other pieces for a vintage vibe.
Adding the resin elements gives the nautical feel with amazing dimensional
texture. I hope you love this layout and it inspires you.
