a moment CAPTURED
by Robin Schelin

Hi everyone, so glad you could stop by the blog today.

I love this photo! She's so sassy! Reminds me of one of my daughters, with her so sassy little attitude she gets sometimes!  Gotta love her!

Wonderful 2Crafty I used:

Mini Flourish Bits

a moment CAPTURED

As I do with all my chipboard pieces, I paint over them with Gesso before altering. I'ts my thing for getting a good finish on the chippies.

I placed a large die-cut viewfinder at the top left of the photo, then added one of the chipboard Viewfinders on top of it. I really like the look of the double viewfinders. I painted it with 'Goldstone' from the Prima Shimmering Lights Water Color Set to match the color of the flowers.

On the left side of the photo, I tucked in a couple of the Mini Flourish Bits under the flowers. These were painted with  'Chandelier' from the Prima Shimmering Lights Water Color Set.

I placed another one of the Mini Flourish Bits on the right side, also tucked into the flowers, for balance. This was painted the same as the others.

I thought the title a moment CAPTURED really "captured" the whimsy of this photo! "a moment" was painted with 'Bear' from the Prima Woodlands Water Color Set. And the word 'CAPTURED' was painted with 'Chandelier' from the Prima Shimmering Lights Water Color Set.

All of the chipboard on this layout were painted with Water Colors. The Shimmering Water Color Set is really shimmering in real life. The photos don't do them justice. That happens sometimes with shiny things like this, and glitter, for instance. Just doesn't photograph well. I tried different lighting, positioning, and this was a good as it got! But trust me, you will not be disappointed using sparkly finishes on your chipboard. Really is pretty!

Ok, that's it for me today, see you back in a few weeks with more from our favorite 2Crafty Chipboard!
