A holiday view evokes wonderful memories and I wanted to bring the
seaside vibe to my layout without usual shells, seaweed etc
So I opted for a boat vibe with Chains, an Anchor and Ship's Wheel.
The texture created by the Chipboard, blending with a little femininity
works to bring out the colours of Positano.

2Crafty Chipboard used...

Minmi Decorative Frame set 4
Industrial Spring set
Asst Chain Lengths x2
Anchor & Buoy set
Anchors
Travel Mini word set 1

Mixing the Industrial springs and Asst Chains together brought the
boating vibe to life on my layout. After the usual Gesso coat I sprayed
them with Whale Watch Blue, Steel Shimmer, Silent Night Silver and
TBird Turquoise Lindy's Sprays. I heat dried between colours to build
up the layers and give a worn look.

I love the Ship's wheel underneath my flowers. I sprayed it with Cape
Cod Coral. Dried it and tapped the sprayer of the Silent Night Silver
to get droplets for a more detailed finish. Then brushed on some Mini
Art Stones.

By gluing the Frame to some paper it creates a picture to sit the Anchor
on. It was sprayed with Bird Turquoise a couple of times drying in
between to get the puddle edges to leave texture behind. Finished with
some bling crystals. The anchor was sprayed lightly with Silent Night
Silver pooling in some areas so all the details can still be seen.

I thought the Title was a little plain so I built it up with some string underneath
and brushed on the Art Stones after spraying with Glimmer Mist Pretty Pink which
has a little coral vibe.

Creating more texture for my background was easy by gluing some
Hessian down folding it as I went and then applying Gesso over the
top and ending with the Mini Art Stones being brushed on. Thanks for
stopping by the blog today.

Until next time...
