Hi Everyone. So glad you stopped by.
Today I am starting out the year with a simple little layout using one of my favorite colors, purple. After all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I wanted just to do something clean and simple. Kind of ease into the new year. Hope you like it.
"A Glimpse of You"
2Crafty Chippies I used:
Circle Revolution Frames
Geo Panel
6" Circle Revolution Frames
A Glimpse of You
As always, Gesso up that chipboard first!!
I used the large Circle Revolution Frame, along with the smaller frame from the 6" Circle Revolution Frames to frame this photo. Both done the same with White Acrylic Paint. I love these frames, they can be used in such a variety of ways. Here, they just draw the eye inward toward the photo.
I cut up the Geo Frame and used part of it here at the bottom left of the photo. I painted it with Lavender Acrylic Paint and then lightly brushed over it with White Gesso. I wanted a little color here coming down from the flowers.
The title, Glimpse of You, was simply painted with White Acrylic Paint to give contrast and to go along with the Revolution frames.
I added another piece of the Geo Frames here along the right side of the photo for balance and a little touch of color.
On the large Revolution frame, I placed 4 little purple dots because I thought it needed something there.
And that's it, easy peasy! A great way to ease into the new year! See you back in a few weeks with another project using these fabulous chippies!
