"These are the days" layout by Moira Gilowey

 

Hello again 2Crafty friends.

I am sharing my new layout for 

2Crafty Chipboard using some of the beautiful 

chipboards from the collection.

Chipboards used include

~ decorative doily panel,

~ funky leaf swirls, and

~ the "These are the days" chipboard title.

I cut the doily panel in half and 

painted one half as well as the leaf swirls 

with black gesso and then, once dry, 

I lightly brushed them with turquoise paint.

Once these were dry, I adhered the half 

of the doily to the right edge of my layout.

I then added my photograph and other 

embellishments, adding the leaf swirls 

to my composition.

I painted the title in black and then rubbed 

it with gold wax once dry.  I then 

painted a copper glitter ink onto the 

word "days".
