HO ho HO - by Robin Schelin

 Hello everyone,  Merry Christmas!

Well, it's almost here! Hope everyone is ready... are we ever really ready?? So many last minute things to do. Hope you have all your Christmas projects done and that they aren't on that "last minute" to do list!!

For my last layout of the year, I'm sharing my last Christmas layout. This is my granddaughter from a few years back. She is so cute, just love these photos of her.  This is another layout that is all sparkly, but the camera doesn't pick that up very well.

"Ho ho Ho"

2Crafty magic used:

Winter Twig Branches

Ho ho Ho

Majestic Reindeer

Filmstrip 11"

All of the chipboard were first painted with white gesso before altering.

I chose the Filmstrip 11" as the base of my composition because it adds texture. I like the white on white for just a hint of difference. I first painted it with white Acrylic Paint, then applied a good dusting of Fairy Dust Mixed Berries Glitter while it was still wet.

Underneath the flower I placed some of the Wintry Twig Branches to add more texture against the white background. I painted them with white Acrylic Paint, them sprinkled them with Distress Stickles Clear Rick Candy Dry Glitter.

Love this title! Love the different font in the middle. So that is why I chose to accent the middle "ho". The top and bottom "HO" were painted with white Acrylic paint then while still wet, I sprinkled on some more of the Mixed Berries Fairy Dust Glitter. Sprinkling glitter on wet paint grabs the glitter and dries solid. It doesn't make a mess all over your layout. Glitter can be a pain, but this way works best for me.

I heat embossed the middle "ho" with Red Tinsel Embossing Powder. I like the contrast in keeping with the rest of the red on the layout.

The Majestic Reindeer were also painted and glittered.  I really like the white on white, but had to add a little color. I just placed small flower behind them and put some berries on their necks to make them stand out more. Didn't want them to get lost!

And it's done.
Hope you like it and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year!
 See you all next year....
