Hello fellow crafty friends so happy to share my first layout
of the year. Fostering Dogs brings so much joy to our lives as
you can see in this photo.
Gorgeous papers by Mintay teamed with some Industrial Chic
elements created a warm loving feeling.

Creating my title was easy with the Alpha set, and some mixed
embossing powder. I adhered the letters to some string and chose
a Heart from the set and glued printed paper to it and sanded the
edges. Placing it over the Poppy's Ornate Frame draws your eye
to the photo. The frame was painted with Pearl White and
splashes of Distress Embossing Glaze.
The Light Globes were coated in various Finnabair waxes
along with the Corner Steampunk which I cut to length across
the layout. The Film Strip was cut into three pieces to add an
antique finish with some Distress embossing glaze.
Adding chipboard pieces between fussy cut layers breaks
them up and changes the whole look.
Embossing the Leafy Shrub pieces in a Clear Gold mix
gave a touch of Gold Elegance and pulled everything together.
