"The Magic of Christmas" Layout and VIDEO by Marie Sabatier

This is my first page of this month of December.

This will be the first Christmas with my grandson. 

I was inspired by this picture taken just after his birth and with the arrival 

of Christmas I chose this theme but with soft tones.

I also realized a step by step video.

These Christmas chipboards are totally extraordinary.

The fine dainty foliage pieces, add so much to the paper version.

Super cute Reindeer below with his heat embossed finish.

I love the effect obtained with the embossing powder on the title.

Finally I really like the rendering of my page that I wanted sweet.

I really hope this one is magical and full of joy for you.

Tammy here today to share a Christmas Day layout!

 It's titled:

'The Magic of Christmas'

 I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

'Winter Twig Branches'

'Pine Needle Wreath'

'Flourish Adornment Set 4'

'The Magic of Christmas Title'

I added ink to the title 'The Magic of Christmas'.

 

I just love the script style, and decided to use two different colour inks.

I love how this looks.

I added white acrylic paint to the 'Pine Needle Wreath'.

So simple, yet effective.

I added white acrylic paint to the 'Winter Twig Branches', but then

 stamped them with a script stamp and black ink.

I also used this stamp in the background of my layout.

I love tying elements like that together.

I added some brown ink to some of the flourishes in the 'Flourish Adornment Set 4' pack.

Such a lovely effect - I love the earthiness, and the rustic feel this creates.

I love this time of year.

The light, the magic.

I love it all.

I present to you a new page in the spirit of the magic of Christmas.
 I was inspired to create this page by the chipboard "Blitzen".
 It is such a magical design...

"The Magic of Christmas"

For the chipboard "Blitzen" and for the title, I just applied a

 layer of white gesso that I covered with a  "nuvo" silver color.

For the "Fern Leaf" chipboard, after applying a layer of white gesso,

 I inked it with a black and silver color. 

Then I added some embossing powder to get relief.

For "Turkish Lanterns" chipboards I applied an "Obviously Black" embossing powder.

To finish the chipboard "Fine Snowflakes" I used 

an embossing powder Transparent glitter.

The magic of Christmas by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty friends! 

It's Christmas season and everybody around is getting into a cheerful mood, so I have an equally cheerful layout to reveal today! It features my daughter and I after she discovered the Snapchat filters last year. 

On the "ATC Flourish 2", I've applied green ink (although it looks a bit teal on the picture) and traced the contour with black ink. Just behind, I've embossed the "Foliage Set 5" with a red embossing ink and gently tapped with white embossing ink. 

I've used pink embossing enamel on the "Frame Nella's".

On the title, "The Magic of Christmas", I applied metallic gold embossing powder.

On this layout, I used the following chipboards:
