Once Upon a Dream
by Sabrina Turpin

Hello 2Crafty fans!

I hope you're doing well! On our side, spring time has officially started here in Quebec and
snow is finally melting away and we're starting to enjoy a bit of warmth.
Things took an unexpected turn for us a few days ago when everything shut down due to the pandemic and everybody being asked to stay home.
But we're making the most of it, spending some quality family time together.
It also means I have a bit more time for crafts!!!

"Once Upon a Dream"

On the "Ornate Heart Set", I applied some shimmering rose gold paint.
Then I dabbed a pink ink on top.

For the "Scroll 3", I used burgundy embossing powder, then applied a bit of copper embossing ink on top. Finally, I've added just a tiny bit of white embossing ink.

For the title, "Once Upon a Dream", I applied copper-pink embossing enamel.

I used the following 2Crafty chipboards in this layout.

Ornate Heart Set [m00500]
Once Upon a Dream [w00467]
Scroll 3 [pa0043]

That's all for me today!
I hope you enjoyed this and that it gave you a bit of inspiration for your own creations!
Stay safe, I'll be back soon with more ideas to share with you guys.

Once Upon a Dream
Layout by Marie Claude Rodier

Hi 2 Crafty fans! Marie Claude back today to share another
project with fantastic 2Crafty chipboards.

This time I was inspired by a spring theme and created an almost
monochromatic layout using earthy tones.

I started by applying white gesso on my title.
I then used an avocado green Lindy's Magicals to color it.

Once dry, I embossed it with a clear shiny powder over which I dried brushed white gesso.

I basecoated the groovy flowers and keyhole with vintage gold wax and
then applied brown Gelatos over them to get a vibrant contrast.

I used gold/green embossing powder on the leafy twig branches and
then dry brushed white gesso on top of them.

January Inspiration by Elena Martynova plus Video

Hello my dears! It is my turn to share some  projects today.
I'm really happy to be in the  2Crafty design team!
It has given me the chance to work with wonderful chipboards, that
have some wonderfully exquisite designs, great quality and such interesting details!
"Once Upon A Dream"
The idea of this layout was inspired by our weather. Winter in Russia, everything is covered
with fluffy snow, but no frost. So I have mixed feelings - according to the calendar
we have winter - and  spring and flowers blooming is in the soul!

White background like a blanket of the purest snow. A scattering of flowers covered with
frost and frozen. I covered chipboard with two different embossing powders by Lindy's.
I have used white and mint.

I love the big chipboard Title. I chose that  for the interesting font and lovely words
'Once Upon a Dream'. This is a universal title that can be used in any romantic work.

Very fine twigs and tendrils. So fine and delicate.

Another one of my loves are frames! They draw attention to the photo and
magically attract the eye in addition to making a beautiful adornment.

Look at these cute tiny flowers! They seem to be just weightless!

The key hiding behind the flowers, it opens the door to a wonderful world of dreams!

I have also made step by step X step Video Tutorial. I hope you like it!

 "Cards"
For my second project I took the same collection of paper and made three cards. Two cards are large and one card is very little (there were pieces of paper left over and I didn't want to throw them away).

Curls of chipboard elegantly hug a bouquet of flowers.

I want to use these delicate leaves in every projects :)))

I decorated a small round doily with a flower in the center. I think it looks very nice!
