"My Beautiful Girl"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present to you my first inspiration from this month of October.
A layout with a photograph of my granddaughter for the first day of school this year.
I added an autumn decor by adding these superb chipboards "large-daisy-flower-stem".

"My Beautiful Girl"

The chipboard used:

To begin, I applied a layer of white gesso to each chipboard.
The "frame-handdrawn-heart" chipboards were coated with white acrylic paint.
I used green ink for the leaves on the "large-daisy-flower-stem" chipboards. For the petals, I simply stamped with neutral ecru ink, adding a few touches of yellow.

On the word "happy", the white color is softened by lightly rubbing with "Fossil" ink.

The "field-mushrooms" and "foliage-set 17" chipboards were decorated using "49 and Market" inks, applied with a reservoir brush for a neat and controlled finish.
I like to combine chipboards and paper cutouts to highlight every detail.

For the phrase "My Beautiful Girl," I apply the same technique as for the word "happy," adding a slight shade of dark brown to tone down the brightness of the white.

As always, I loved using these beautiful particle boards to add depth and structure to my layout.
I hope that I have provided you with some inspiration for your future creations.

Thank you for your loyalty!

'My Beautiful Girl'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello again all!
It's Lisa here today to share some 2Crafty goodness with you all.

'My Beautiful Girl'

 2Crafty products used:

 'My Beautiful Girl Title'
'Cherri's Border'
'Foliage Set 18'
'Key Set Mini'

For this layout, I used the 'Cherri's Border',
which I cut into pieces,
painted pink to suit my papers,
and adhered on either side of my photo.

I also used two of the 'Foliage Set 18' pieces,
that I painted black,
and adhered in among my floral elements.

I also used one of the keys from the 'Key Set Mini',
that I also painted black and tucked under my flowers.

To finish, I used the 'My Beautiful Girl Title',
also painted back,
adhered to the bottom of my layout.

I hope that I have inspired you to get crafty today.

 Until next time!

Lisa
