April Inspiration by Lilibleu

Hello 2Crafty fans!

This is Lilibleu here today, giving you my April projects.

This month, I created a set of 2 pages on a similar theme to create a decoration for my wall. I chose two lovely pictures of children to realize these projects, which happen to be shabby and mixed media at the same time.

"Enjoy The Journey"

This first page is made with warm colors: green, orange and gold.

The title "Enjoy The Journey" is embossed with black powder.

Butterflies "Addy's Butterflies" are embossed with gold powder.

The "Leafy Shrub Set 1" foliage is simply painted green. The beautiful frame

"Frame Bec's" has the perfect size to surround my photo and I embossed it with gold powder.

"Magical Memories"

For this second project, I used the same theme and kept the same spirit as for my first project, in order to create a set. But for this one, I rather used cold colors like turquoise blue and purple.

The "Doilies" chipboard is embossed with purple powder.

I kept the natural color of the foliage "Foliage Set 1", I already find them beautiful just as they are!!

The big round "Anika frame" that surrounds my photo is a marvel and perfectly fits in my project.

To make my title stand out, I embossed it in black.

I really like the handwriting used for this chipboard.

Grungy Male Layout and an Alterned 12x12 Album

Hello my dear 2Crafty friends!!

It's Elena here today to share some inspiration with you all.

My first project is layout with a photo of my husband and my son.
The boys love to ride on motorcycles and shoot machine guns :)))
My family went to the Black sea, and this picture was taken there.

For this layout I have used a bit of mixed media and stamping. Lots of splatters :)
As background I used a sheet of collection Hazy Days by 7 Dots Studio.

The main decoration is a chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard. I had to special order the title
"Father and Son. Moment " for this page. Ah and Steampunk Gears Medium, too, :)))

I have embossed all chipies in Lindy's embossing powder.

For my second March project I made big male album.

It is intended as a gift to the man on the anniversary. The cover is covered with suede fabric.
I used a lot of different chipboards, you can see the full list at the end of the post.
In the meantime, I invite you to consider the details of the album.

Chipboard covered with two multi-colored powders from Lindy's.

The main decoration of the cover is a beautiful guitar.

I like to add headlines to my work. For male work the words "Always follow your dreams"
fits just perfectly. In addition, the hero of the day is a very respectable man who has
own business and achieved a lot in life.

I painted the gears with alcohol ink and varnished them with craquelure.
I really liked the result - the old rusted parts.

I cut the background chipboard into pieces of irregular shape and added it to the album's pages.

Sometimes I stick one chipboard right on top of the other.
I like how it turns the volume and layering.

On this page I used the chip Angel wings that anyone can be confused with men's mustache :)))
