Hello everyone,
Today I’m sharing a bonus layout for the month of April, featuring a sweet photo of my granddaughter.
I chose a soft and delicate color palette combining warm yellows with subtle shades of purple, creating a gentle and fresh spring atmosphere.

The chipboard used:
To start, I prepared my chipboard pieces with a coat of white gesso. I then added soft touches of color using 49 and Market inks, layering them gently to blend with the overall palette of the layout while keeping a light and delicate finish.
For my composition, I created a central cluster around the photo by layering tags, florals and textured elements to add depth and visual interest. I used the “Thistle” chipboard to bring height and softness to the arrangement. I colored it with 49 and Market inks, starting with Cappuccino as a base, then adding touches of Lavender Kisses to bring soft purple tones.
For the “Steampunk Foliage Corner” chipboard, I started with Cappuccino as a base to create a soft and slightly vintage undertone. I then layered Twilight to build the main purple shade, and finished with touches of Sangria to add depth and a slightly warmer tone. This combination creates a subtle variation of color, bringing dimension while keeping the overall look soft and balanced.
For the “Adore Script” title, I used Twilight and Sangria to create soft purple tones. I lightly sprayed water to add subtle variation and softness to the color.
As the title didn’t stand out enough against the background, I decided to mount it onto a piece of white cardstock, similar to the “golden” title underneath. This simple step helps define the shape and brings more contrast, allowing the title to become a clear focal point while keeping the overall look soft and cohesive.
I hope you enjoyed this layout, and I’ll see you again soon!
