So happy to be on the blog today, with a Mixed Media layout created with
loads of awesome 2crafty chipboard.
Celebrating my sons 12th Birthday.

Happy Birthday title was coated in Gesso and stamped
for texture to show through the Distress Glaze I applied.
The Numbers Panel was coated in Gesso and randomly stamped for detail.
Then sprayed with Lindys Steel Shimmer spray. A great effect for a subtle look.
The diamond bits were tucked under embellishments on the layout
sideways to amplify the Zig Zag frame. Gesso, stamping and next a mix of Lindys
Silent Night Silver and Tiffany Lou Blue sprays were applied randomly.
Cut pieces of Film Strips were placed on the side of my photos
after I sprayed some Prima Colour Bloom Mustard. followed by
Lindys Silent Night Silver. Gave the pieces an aged finish.
After a coat of Gesso the Zig Zag frame was stamped and randomly sprayed
with Prima Colour Bloom Mustard to still see some white spaces. A perfect focal
point beneath the photos. The Hinges were treated the same but sprayed with
Lindys Midnight Rendezvous Raven and excess wiped with a paper towel to see
stamping through the colour. Adhered to the layout with screw head brads.
The Clock Discs are a favourite of mine and this time I gave them the same
treatment as the other chipboard pieces finishing with a coat of Lindys
Steel shimmer spray. Tucking them around the photos reflects on
another year gone by.
