"Christmas Angel"
Hi Everyone,
Trudi back with you today sharing some more 2Crafty Chipboard happiness.
With Christmas fast approaching, I thought I would get into the festive spirit and create
an angel topper. With a touch of shabby chic, she would look quite lovely sitting on the
tree or as table centre piece. I really like how 2Crafty chipboard is really quite adaptable
for adding decorative accents to my off the page projects.
The body of the angel was created from patterned paper and a touch of softness to the
angels dress was added with a paper doily, tulle and ribbon.
Cassie's Flourishes create the wings and were painted with metallic gold accents. A light
dusting of super fine crystal glitter was sprinkled whilst the media was still wet.

The head/face of the angel was framed with the smallest clock frame from the 6" Clock Face Frames. An Ornate Buckle was cut in half and one piece adhered to the back to create 'hair'.
The other Ornate Buckle piece was attached at the front of the angel's skirt along
with a Hanging Beaded Heart.
A Christmas Decorative Ornament Border was also trimmed into pieces. The Holly
element sitting over the middle of the bow with a hanging piece attached underneath.

Next I have an altered project to share with you. The deer and sleigh were
picked up at a discount store and have been given a makeover.
"Altered Deer and Sleigh"
A Holly Vine Flourish was added to the floral embellishment. The flourish was painted
with gold metallic paint with accents of Colour Blast Leather Embossing Powder.
A smaller Circle Dot Frame sits around the neck of the deer.
A Chain Length has been wrapped around the belly of the deer with an
Ornate Buckle affixed over top.
A layered chipboard flower was made from 2 different sizes of Spiral Snowflakes.
The tips of the snowflakes were bent upwards.
A Leafy Shrub Flourish was tucked into the floral embellishment at the back of the sleigh.
Pieces from a trimmed down Holly Wreath were also added.

The bottom hanging piece from the Delicate Ornament hangs from the bottom of the
large flower. A trimmed bauble element from the Mini Christmas Baubles hangs
from the floral cluster around the neck of the deer.
