Hello 2 Crafty peeps!
Fiona here with you today to share a couple of creations I made using some
of the awesome 2 Crafty chipboard.
"Live Everyday with Intention"
2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
"Live Everyday With Intention Title"
"Fanciful Butterfly's"
"Geo Tags"
"Dandylions"
I created a monochromatic layout with a background that uses an awesome water
colour technique I learn't from the incredibly talented Louise Nelson.
Then I dressed it up with some of my favourite 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces starting
with my title "Live Everyday With Intention". In the video tutorial
(there is a link located at the bottom of this post) I demonstrate how I used tiny
little metal filings to create a rusted effect on the "Live" part of the title.
I covered the "Fanciful Butterfly" with some old book page and
edged it in black Distress Ink.
I used some Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powder to alter this little "Geo Tag".
I used a couple of different heat embossing techniques and the
rusting technique again to alter the "Dandelions"
You can watch it all unfold here in the tutorial video.

Next up I wanted to try out some 2 Crafty Chipboard in my art journal.
Art journaling is my latest obsession! and I am totally addicted.
"Adventure"
2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:
"Adventure Loopy Font"
"Hessian Patch Panels"
"Mini Jigsaw puzzle pieces"
I chose the "Adventure Loopy Font" to use as my title piece because this
journey I'm on, discovering art journaling, is a real adventure. I never
know what I might get but I'm loving experimenting.
I've added some of the "Hessian Patch Panel". I chopped it up and placed it throughout
my spread. Some of it I covered with old book pages, some of it I covered with cheese
cloth and all of it I painted using a combination of black and white acrylic paint and
then water colour paint.
The "Mini Puzzle Pieces" were just perfect to represent my art at the moment. I can be
very puzzled throughout the process to the point that I sometimes have moments of "WHAT
THE BLAZES AM I DOING?" and then, all of a sudden, the pieces all fall into place.
Some of the pieces I covered with cheese cloth and paint and others I just painted.
I thoroughly enjoyed making both of my pieces this month. There is a little
bit for everyone in both of the pieces. I'll see you all again next month.
