"Live Your Adventure"

Hi, it's Beck Beattie here with my September inspiration shares.  I'm really having fun with my chipboard and can't wait to show you my latest creations!     I really had fun using the chipboard in some different ways once again.

I have been recently playing with Shimmerz Creameez watercolour paints and really
wanted to see the effects on chipboard and oh they are amazing.  I teamed it up with
 Tinby Designs Metallic Melts and DecoArt Metallic Lustre wax pastes.  

I added some metallic colour with various DecoArt Metallic lustres.

I love the way the use of the chipboard in different ways  really adds interest to the overall look.  
For the Star Frame and Stars I added Metallic Melts,  Shimmers Creameez and Metallic lustre.  

I also added Shimmerz creameez to the title for a two tone effect.

 The Metallic lustre looks so lovely randomly added to the Stars.

"love FAMILY"

For my second layout, I once again had fun with the chipboard in some different ways.

I love how the chipboard pieces create a beautiful feature to this page.

Altering chipboard really helps to create dimension and interest as in this page, as they

 all build on the colours in the photo and the background.

The "love" word was simply inked with black ink as a contrast to the "Family" word.

 The "FAMILY" word was first given a coat of gesso, followed by a thick coat of Shimmerz Creameez in 'Green Acres'. Once dried with a heat gun I applied some watered down 

brown distress ink over the top.  I love the 'patina' effect it seem to give the chipboard pieces.

The "Triangles" were first sorted into sizes and I even altered some to make 

even smaller triangles as shown here.

I then added some ColorBox 'Toasted Apricot' followed by some random watery 

gesso and then added some of the ink again over the top randomly.
