A little bit of vintage by lindy Gillespie
Hi everyone,
Lindy here today to showcase some vintage styled layouts.
'Pure Bliss'
On my first layout, I have gone with a Pink theme, and have
lots of stamping and mixed media techniques on the background.
I have then used a heap of 2Crafty chipboard underneath adding layers on top.
Chipboard pieces used include;
Round Ornate Frame
Tiny Kathleen Frame
1 inch Hexagons
Swirly Flourish Border
I first painted the chipboard (twice) using white distress paint.
I then gave it another coat, this time using a sponge, to give it a distress
uneven look to it and then dabbed some Light Pink Mist on the top of it.
'Giggle'
My second layout also has a Vintage theme, and once again I have used
a mask and misting for the background.
After I painted the chipboard with gesso, I them dabbed some beige ink
lightly on top, to give a subtle touch of colour.
This time I've used the following chipboard pieces, and once again, used
quite a few to layer up, underneath and around my photo.
Tiny Funky Frames
Fence wire Panel
Mini Fob Watch
Vintage Element
Giggle Word
and Corner Baroque
'Enjoy'
This layout was a Challenge from YSMY and it is also a Vintage style layout.
I have used the following chipboard on this layout;
Corner Evie
Ornate Oval Frame
Circles
Enjoy
Once again I have treated the chipboard with a couple of coats of gesso, then
lightly inked with Prima Shabby Tote ink.
Thanks everyone for stopping by, I hope I have inspired you to
try a Vintage style layout, using loads of 2Crafty chipboard.
Don't forget to share any projects you use using 2Crafty chipboard onto
our FB page, we love to see what you create with our yummy chipboard.
